Abstract: A printing cost charging method of a printing system wherein the printing system includes a mobile terminal, an image forming apparatus capable of communicating data with the mobile terminal, and a server capable of communicating data with the mobile terminal via a wireless communication network. The printing cost charging method comprises the steps of transmitting printing data from the mobile terminal to the image forming apparatus, transmitting printing information relating to the printing data from the image forming apparatus to the mobile terminal, transmitting the printing information from the mobile terminal to the server, and controlling the server to charge a printing cost to the mobile terminal based on the printing information. Costly equipment and potential errors are reduced as the server of the printing system which charges the printing cost interfaces with the mobile terminal without the Internet.

The image forming apparatus receives information about the article stored in the RFID tag, requests, from a server, one or more detailed information items about the article that correspond to the received information, and receives the requested one or more detailed information items. The image forming apparatus forms one or more images that correspond to the received one or more detailed information items. The server stores the one or more detailed information items. Accordingly, the image forming apparatus can obtain information about the article at any time.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus to print an image file store in an image providing device by connecting the image providing device to an image printing device include determining a universal interface class supported by the image providing device, determining a connection mode between the image providing device and the image printing device according to the determined universal interface class, and printing an image file transmitted from the image providing device to the image printing device according to the determined connection mode.
