A sub chassis has first and second mold tension guide parts mounted on a front of the pickup deck and supported by and under the first and the second mold tension parts. A disc tray moves inwardly and outwardly with respect to the main chassis. The mold tension guide parts of the sub chassis are elastically supported by the mold tension parts of the main chassis in an up-position of the pickup deck, thereby absorbing external impacts and inner vibrations.

    Abstract: A disc guide device for guiding and placing a disc cartridge and a bare disc in a predetermined position on a tray of a disc player. When a bare disc is loaded on the tray, a guide portion is projected through and above a guide hole by the elastic force of a spring to contact the circumference of the disc. When a disc cartridge is loaded on the tray, a protrusion is inserted into a reference hole, and the guide portion is pressed down by the disc cartridge and buried below the guide hole. Since the device guiding the disc cartridge and the device guiding the bare disc are integrated in the disc guide device, it is possible to fabricate the disc guide device with fewer parts, lower material cost, and with a simpler structure.

    Abstract: A roulette driving apparatus used with a roulette-type disc changeable player to rotate a roulette where a plurality of discs are loaded, including a motor, a worm gear installed on the rotation shaft of the motor, and a driving gear rotating in a state in which it is geared to the worm gear and to a gear provided on the roulette, transmitting power generated from the motor to the roulette. Since the roulette driving apparatus used with a roulette-type disc changeable player is configured to transmit power from a motor directly to a roulette through a worm gear and a driving gear, the number of parts can be greatly reduced compared to the conventional apparatus. Also, since the number of power transmission steps is reduced, the reduction ratio is reduced so that a desired angle of rotation of the roulette can be achieved by driving the motor to a lesser extent, thereby considerably reducing noise generated by driving the roulette.
