Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention relates to a system for balancing a set of clubs such that the dynamic moments of inertia, including inertial components attributable to the golfer's arms, are substantially equivalent. A balancing method of the present invention comprises the steps of selecting a user defined reference club, calculating its sensed dynamic moment of inertia, calculating masses for the remaining club heads within the set so that their sensed dynamic moments of inertia are each substantially equivalent to that of the reference club, and utilizing corresponding heads for such remaining clubs.
