The position sensing part senses the height adjusted by the height adjusting unit. The display part externally displays the height sensed by the position sensing part.

Abstract: A display control method and device are discussed. According to one aspect, the method includes dividing a screen into a first display region, on which a first broadcast signal is displayed, and a second display region having at least one sub screen, on which a second broadcast signal is displayed, the second broadcast signal being received in response to a channel searching command; and displaying a moving picture on the second display region when the user selects a second display mode, wherein the first display region is overlapped with the second display region, and wherein an on screen display (OSD) having direction key menus responsive to the control command is displayed in order to control the position of display region of the second display region.

Abstract: The present invention is related to hybrid conjugates formed by covalently bonding siRNA (small interfering RNA) molecules to hydrophilic polymers for improving stability of the siRNA molecules effective for delivering the siRNA in vivo, and polyelectrolyte complex micelles formed by ionic interactions between the conjugates and multifunctional cationic compounds. The siRNA-hydrophilic polymer conjugates and polyelectrolyte complex micelles derived therefrom can be used for improving stability of the siRNA molecules in vivo. Consequently, the delivery of siRNA molecules for therapeutic applications into cells can be facilitated, and the siRNA is still active even though a small dose of the siRNA is used.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for expressing a target protein on an exosporium forming the outermost surface of bacterial spores. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for expressing a target protein on the surface of cells and spores using an exosporium as a matrix for surface expression, and methods for the production of a protein array, the production of antibodies, the separation of a certain substance from a mixture, bioconversion, and the improvement of a target protein, which are characterized by using the cells or spores having the target protein that was expressed on the surface by the above expression method.

According to the present disclosure, there is provided an automatic favorites registration method and system which can automatically register a website which a local computer accesses, and also can register only an additional website which is determined to be optimal for a user's convenience, or maintain a favorites registration of the website according to the user's recent search trend.

Abstract: Disclosed is a liquid crystal display (LCD) device equipped with a resin black matrix, capable of preventing the light leakage phenomenon by improving an OD (optical density) value of the resin black matrix. The LCD device includes an array substrate formed with a thin film transistor and a pixel electrode, a color filter substrate aligned opposite to the array substrate and formed with a resin black matrix and a color filter, a liquid crystal layer aligned between the array substrate and the color filter substrate, and lower and upper polarizing plates attached to outer surfaces of the array substrate and the color substrate and having transmission axes extending in the same direction. The resin black matrix has a transmission axis perpendicular to the transmission axes of the lower and upper polarizing plates so that the resin black matrix has a polarizing function.

Abstract: Disclosed is an electrolyte for batteries, which comprises: (a) an electrolyte salt; (b) an electrolyte solvent; and (c) a sulfonate-based compound containing at least one electron withdrawing group (EWG) selected from the group consisting of a cyano group (—CN), an isocyanate group (—NCO), a thiocyanate group (—SCN) and an isothiocyanate group (—NCS). An electrode comprising the sulfonate-based compound or a chemical reaction product thereof, partially or totally formed on the surface thereof, and an electrochemical device comprising the electrolyte and/or the electrode are also disclosed. The electrochemical device using the sulfonate-based compound containing a cyano group, an isocyanate group, a thiocyanate group and/or an isothiocyanate group as an additive for electrolytes can provide significantly improved high-temperature lifespan characteristics.

Abstract: Disclosed is a lithium secondary battery comprising a cathode, an anode, an electrolyte and a separator, wherein the anode comprises an anode active material having a specific surface area of 3 m2/g or less, and the electrolyte comprises 0.1˜6 parts by weight of a propane sultone-based compound based on 100 parts by weight of the electrolyte. The lithium secondary battery solves the problem of performance degradation caused by the use of an increased amount of a propane sultone-based compound required to form a SEI film on the surface of an anode upon the first charge cycle. Also, the lithium secondary battery can provide improved cycle characteristics and high-temperature storage characteristics.

An edge bead is prevented from occurring by forming a solvent vapor layer from ionized solvent vapor on a wafer through the use of a magnetic field generator, spraying a liquid photoresist on the wafer, and controlling the liquid photoresist to not vaporize more at the edge of the wafer than towards the center thereof. A photoresist coating apparatus includes: a solvent ionizer supplying ionized solvent vapor; and a magnetic field generator forming a solvent vapor layer on a wafer from the ionized solvent vapor.

Abstract: Disclosed is a conjugate for gene transfer, which is capable of being used for treatment of incurable diseases, comprising an oligonucleotide intended to be transferred into target cells and a hydrophilic polymer, wherein an end of the oligonucleotide is covalently conjugated to the hydrophilic polymer. Also, the present invention discloses polyelectrolyte complex micelles formed from such a conjugate and a cationic polymer or cationic peptide. Such polyelectrolyte complex micelles can effectively transfer oligonucleotides as therapeutic agents into target cells, making it possible to obtain desired activities of the delivered oligonucleotides in target cells even when the micelles are clinically applied at a relatively low concentration. Therefore, the conjugate and the polyelectrolyte complex micelle are very useful in basic life science research and the medical field.

Abstract: Disclosed is an electrolyte for a battery, which comprises: (a) an electrolyte salt; (b) a solvent for electrolyte; and (c) a compound represented by the following formula 1: wherein R is a halogen atom, or a halogen-substituted or non-substituted C1˜C10 alkyl group or alkenyl group. An electrode comprising a passivation layer partially or totally formed on a surface thereof, wherein the passivation layer comprises a compound represented by the following Formula 1 or a chemical reaction product thereof, and a secondary battery using the electrolyte and/or the electrode are also disclosed. The compound can improve the initial charge/discharge efficiency and cycle life characteristics of a secondary battery, and can inhibit a battery from swelling under high-temperature storage conditions.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a soccer ball, which is made by sewing 12 pentagon panels and 20 hexagon panels, and more particularly, the soccer ball utilizes regular pentagon panels and equiangular hexagon panels, both of which have the same area. By doing so, when being inflated, the regular pentagon panels and the equiangular hexagon panels can protrude evenly. The soccer ball of the present invention has the advantages in that the problems of irregular bounce and deteriorated speed and revolution properties are solved and so the ball can be used for adult or official games, the air resistance and the friction are much reduced, and so the revolution speed becomes increased and the abrasion of the ball is reduced.
