    Abstract: The present invention discloses a manufacturing method and apparatus of artificial human teeth using dental CT. The method comprises the steps of: removing a damaged part of human teeth; obtaining surface coordinates of the teeth using a dental CT machine located at a dental clinic for a medical checkup; converting the surface coordinates of the actual teeth to CAD/CAM data; manufacturing artificial teeth by cutting metal or ceramic with a three-dimensional N/C machine using the converted data; obtaining shape data of upper or lower actual teeth corresponding to the artificial teeth; changing the shape of the artificial teeth by direct surface processing according to the shape data of the upper or lower teeth; and coating ceramic to the artificial teeth after sintering the processed artificial teeth for a predetermined period.

    Abstract: A pseudo contact NPAB head slider configured for supporting a transducer proximate to a rotating disc. The slider includes two side rails extending almost to the trailing edge and a central air bearing island at the trailing edge, which form air bearing surfaces that develop positive lifting forces as the disc rotates beneath the slider. Two negative pressure air cavities are created, one proximate to each of the side rails in a central portion of the slider body, separated from each other by curved cross rails. In addition, two more negative pressure air cavities are created forward of the central negative pressure air cavities. The central and forward negative pressure air cavities on each side of the slider are divided by narrow central air bearing rails segments, which safely maintain the stable trapped drawing or suction forces in the cavities regardless of large skew angle variations while the disc drive is operating.

    Abstract: A high density recording method for performing high density recording by reducing a light spot size in an optical pickup for recording information by scanning an optical disk with the light spot, spatially controlling the phase or the intensity of light being focused within the optical focal length of an objective lens by employing a diffraction optical element so as to form on the optical disk a light spot whose diameter is reduced according to the width of the portion for controlling the phase or intensity of the light. The distribution of the optical intensity is variable depending on the distance between the diffraction optical element and the optical disk, to thereby enable theoretically forming a limitlessly small light spot, and actually, greatly increase the recording capacity. The diffraction optical element can be used as a floating slider in an optical pickup having a swing arm.

    Abstract: A dual disc recording/reproducing apparatus and recording method. The apparatus includes a reproducing deck unit and a recording/reproducing deck unit with both being controlled by one control unit. The method comprises the steps of recording on a disc a first program and a disc playing time on the lead-in area thereof unless data is recorded on the disc, recording the data onto the next recording area of the lead-out area if data is already recorded on the disc, and then recording the lead-out to process a present lead-out area as a bad block area. The next step is recording a new lead-out at the end of the disc playing time, and then processing the previous and next blocks, including the present lead-out area, as a bad block during the recording of the data, processing the previous and next blocks, including the lead-in area, as a bad block, and then recording the data in the program memory area onto a new lead-in area.
