Abstract: A method and an apparatus for Internet connection of a mobile communication terminal are disclosed. The Internet connection method includes extracting URL (uniform resource locator) information from web sites of the Internet and storing the URL information and connecting to a web site of Internet by using the extracted URL information, wherein extracting URL comprises inputting at least one numeric value representative of the URL information and inputting an designated key for Internet connection after inputting the associated numeric values. According to the present invention, a user may connect to a desired web site by inputting a web site name by using numeric keys and an Internet key. Accordingly, the quantity of key strokes required for connecting to a web site is reduced and user convenience is improved.

Abstract: A diagnostics and monitoring method and system is disclosed for generating diagnostics and monitoring information and transmitting the diagnostics and monitoring information to a remote terminal using an improved diagnostic and monitoring policy. The method includes selecting, at a remote terminal, one of available diagnostics and monitoring policies; transmitting a diagnostics and monitoring configuration information including at least one of a diagnostics and monitoring object, a memory allocation size, and a diagnostics and monitoring cycle from the remote terminal to a device management system; transmitting a diagnostics and monitoring message generated on the basis of the diagnostics and monitoring configuration information from the device management system to a mobile device; generating, at the mobile device, diagnostics and monitoring information with reference to the diagnostics and monitoring message; and transmitting the diagnostics and monitoring information.

Abstract: A webpage bookmarking method for a mobile terminal is disclosed. The webpage bookmarking method includes the steps of checking, during webpage display, whether a division bookmark setting request is issued and setting a division bookmark at a specified section of a webpage being displayed. As a result, a bookmark can be set at a desired section of a webpage, and the user can easily make a jump to the bookmarked section during browsing of a large webpage.

Abstract: A stereo support system and method for a mobile terminal are disclosed. The stereo support method uses a sound generation device having a sound generation main unit and a sound generation sub-unit to play a first audio material selected in a mobile terminal, and comprises: generating a second audio material by modifying phase or play-time properties of the first audio material; and streaming the first audio material to the sound generation main unit and the second audio material to the sound generation sub-unit. As a result, the user of a mobile terminal can enjoy stereo sounds using a monaural headset.
