  • Patent number: 11318789
Abstract: A wheel resonator for reducing a resonance phenomenon inside a tire of a vehicle may include a plurality of wheel resonators mounted to a tire wheel. First and second wheel resonators of the plurality of wheel resonators are fixed with each other by a fastening part including a protrusion disposed on an end of the first wheel resonator penetrating through a hole disposed in an end of the second wheel resonator. An end portion of the protrusion has a size greater than a size of the hole. As such, quality of a wheel through more reliable noise reduction by making a wheel resonator in a manner of forming a fitting type fastening part in the wheel resonator itself and fixing the wheel resonator by ultrasonic welding can be improved.

  • Patent number: 10023225
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for controlling a motor-driven power steering system can inhibit a change in steering feeling which may be caused by abrasion and degradation of components in the motor-driven power steering system, and maintain initial steering feeling. The method determines a torque compensation amount by comparing a reference value with change ratio average data of steering torque with respect to a steering angle, and compensates for driver input torque in accordance with the determined torque compensation amount, such that it is possible to effectively inhibit the change in steering feeling which may be caused by abrasion and degradation of components, and maintain the initial steering feeling.

  • Publication number: 20160110936
Abstract: A method of making a tuning map for a vehicle device includes deriving performance parameters of the vehicle device in a new vehicle and setting a target tuning performance. A pre-tuning map is established by building an interpretation model of the new vehicle including an interpretation model and a control model of the vehicle device, and tuning parameters, which satisfy the target tuning performance, are set using the performance parameters through interpretation of the models. The pre-tuning map is applied to a control logic of the vehicle device for an actual vehicle which includes the vehicle device mounted therein, and the actual vehicle tuning is performed. Whether actual vehicle performance satisfy a preset target performance after tuning the actual vehicle is evaluated, and the tuning map is finalized when the target tuning performance is satisfied.
