  • Patent number: 12064728
Abstract: An electrodeionization filter includes: a housing having a water inlet and a water outlet; a first electrode installed inside the housing in a spiral shape; a second electrode installed inside the housing in a spiral shape so as to be spaced apart from the first electrode; and an ion exchange module installed between the first electrode and the second electrode for adsorbing or desorbing ionic substances contained in water introduced by an application of electricity. At least one of the first electrode and the second electrode has a structure in which a center portion thereof is denser than a peripheral region thereof. Accordingly, the lifespan of the electrodes of the electrodeionization filter can be increased, and the assembly of the electrodes and related parts can be easily facilitated.

  • Patent number: 8965467
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a superconducting rotating electrical machine and a manufacturing method for a high temperature superconducting film thereof. The superconducting rotating electrical machine includes a stator, and a rotor rotatable with respect to the stator, the rotor having a rotary shaft and a rotor winding. Here, the rotor winding includes tubes disposed on a circumference of the rotary shaft and each forming a passage for a cooling fluid therein, superconducting wires accommodated within the tubes, and a cooling fluid flowing through the inside of the tubes. This configuration may allow for direct heat exchange between the superconducting wires and a refrigerant, resulting in improvement of heat exchange efficiencies of the superconducting wires.

  • Patent number: 7484370
Abstract: A refrigerant gas recycling apparatus for cryogenic cooling device has a first gas storage unit for temporarily storing refrigerant gas discharged from the cryogenic cooling device, a compressor for compressing refrigerant gas stored in the first storage unit, and a second gas storage unit for storing therein refrigerant gas compressed by the compressor and selectively re-supplying compressed refrigerant gas to the cryogenic cooling device using a pressure difference between compressed refrigerant gas and inside of the cooling device. Refrigerant gas discharged from the cryogenic cooling device is compressed and stored in reduced volume, and stored refrigerant gas is re-supplied to the cryogenic cooling device without a separate driving source.

  • Publication number: 20070188280
Abstract: A superconductive coil assembly has a bobbin, a coil provided such that a superconductive wire is wound several times around the bobbin, and a pair of heat transfer plates installed to cover the opposite sides of the bobbin and the coil. The heat transfer plate is made of metal material with high thermal conductivity, such as copper or aluminum, and a portion thereof abutted upon the side of the coil is coated with electric insulating material. If adapted to a generator, an electric motor, and so on, the plurality of superconductive coil assemblies is used while being overlapped. In this case, a connection recess is provided to at least one heat transfer plate to enable a portion of the side of the coil to be exposed outside, in order for electrical connection with another superconductive coil assembly.
