  • Patent number: 10011855
Abstract: The present invention relates to a fractionated coupled apparatus for saccharifying biomass and a method for saccharifying biomass using the apparatus, and more particularly, to a fractionated coupled apparatus and method for saccharifying biomass, in which biomass mixed with enzyme is first saccharified in a single-tubular plug-flow reactor (PFR) unit, and then distributed into and saccharified in a second multi-tubular PFR unit comprising 2-100 PFRs, each having a diameter smaller than that of the single-tubular PFR unit. According to the present invention, biomass is first saccharified in a PFR having a relatively large diameter, and then distributed into and saccharified in PFRs having a relatively small diameter. Thus, a high concentration of a sugar compound can be obtained without having to use an additional mixer.

The 3-dimensional complex multilayer structure includes a first pattern and a second pattern having different thicknesses formed on one or both surfaces of a plate. The first pattern is selected from the group consisting of parallel lines, parallel curves, parallel zigzag lines, and combinations thereof which do not meet each other. The second pattern is not parallel to the first pattern and is selected from the group consisting of parallel lines, parallel curves, parallel zigzag lines, and combinations thereof which do not meet each other. The interfaces between the first pattern and the second pattern form figures selected from the group consisting of polygons, circles, ellipses, and combinations thereof. The figures are repetitively formed on one or both surfaces of the plate. The 3-dimensional complex multilayer structure includes different complex patterns, whereas a conventional device has a kind of simple pattern.

  • Publication number: 20180100425
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a cross fan engine room blower for a vehicle, the cross fan engine room blower including: a plurality of cross fans that are horizontally arranged in an air flow space, that have an impeller-shaped rotating blade formed along a full length of the cross fans, and that rotate to draw outside air into the engine room. Such a cross fan engine room blower may maximize an air flow rate in the engine room and reduce the possibility of foreign materials being introduced between the cross fans and a fan shroud, thereby reducing the possibility of a motor stalling or otherwise performing undesirably. Such a cross fan engine room blower may also improve an air flow quality by minimizing a dead zone of the air flow space to thereby reduce power consumption of a motor, thereby improving fuel efficiency.
