  • Patent number: 10434967
Abstract: A fault diagnosis method for a bio-signal sensor for the vehicle includes measuring a first bio-signal through the bio-signal sensor in response to a seating detecting signal, measuring a second bio-signal through the bio-signal sensor in response to input through an on-board interface, and determining whether the bio-signal sensor may have malfunctioned according to whether the second bio-signal includes a signal deviating from a range set in response to the first bio-signal.

  • Patent number: 5631998
Abstract: A method for performing a trick play in a digital video tape apparatus for recording and/or reproducing an advanced television (ATV) signal is performed such that the data area of a sync block forming an audio sector and a video sector in a track is divided into a first area and a second area to record and reproduce normal-play data and trick-play data for a normal play and a trick play, respectively. The area corresponding to 5.6 Mbps is used for trick-play data in the case of an ATV signal; a separate data area for the error correction coding of a trick-play data is not necessary. Also, since trick plays of speeds of even-number times are available within the range of the maximum multiple speed, a diversity of speeds for a trick-play mode are allowed.

    Inventor: Taek-soo Han
  • Patent number: 5592343
Abstract: A digital video tape recording method for trick play includes the steps of dividing the data area of a video sector of respective tracks of the digital video tape into first, second and third regions, interspersely recording normal play data and trick play data in the first and third regions, and recording the normal play data in the second region, wherein the trick play data recorded in the first and third regions is frame data corresponding to the maximum odd-fold speed of a plurality of given odd-fold speeds, and the same trick play data is repeatedly recorded for a number of tracks equal to twice the number of the maximum odd-fold speed, thereby enabling satisfactory trick play at various odd-fold speeds and with various scanners.
