  • Publication number: 20070253837
Abstract: The present invention relates to a variable capacity swash plate type compressor, in which a check valve for circulating refrigerant inside a compressor and preventing a backflow of the refrigerant when an air conditioner is turned off is mounted on a side of a discharge muffler chamber in a cover type so that the discharge muffler chamber is formed by the check valve, thereby reducing the number of components, the number of work processes, and a pulsating pressure (pulsating noise) of discharged refrigerant, allowing that the check valve is mounted at the center of a discharge chamber without any increase in size of the compressor, preventing an overlapping phenomenon of a pulsating pressure waveform of a high-pressure refrigerant at the time of discharge since the check valve is located at the center of the discharge chamber, and preventing a separation of the check valve by fixing the check valve in the discharge chamber via a retainer.

  • Publication number: 20060249281
Abstract: The present invention relates to a heat exchanger plate, more particularly, in which a number of beads for imparting turbulence to refrigerant flowing through a channel of a plate are formed streamlined and guide beads arre formed in refrigerant distributing sections in order to reduce the pressure drop of refrigerant while realizing uniform refrigerant distribution. In the heat exchanger plate of a tube including a tank communicating with a channel, a number of first beads so arrayed in the plate that opposed sides are coupled to each other to impart turbulence to refrigerant flowing through the channel and refrigerant distributing sections provided in inlet and outlet sides of the channel and divided by at least one second bead to have a plurality of paths, the first beads are formed streamlined and satisfy an equation of 0.35?W/L?0.75, wherein W is the width and L is the length.

  • Patent number: 6854512
Abstract: A heat exchanger tube and a heat exchanger that uses the heat exchanger tube. The heat exchanger tube is provided with a generally flat body has a plurality of refrigerant passages that pass through the interior of the flat body in the length direction thereof. The tube includes refrigerant passages which are provided with a plurality of inside passages, each of which has a first curved portion that is made by changing a predetermined curve over at least a time or more to form a curve changing point protruding in the width direction of the body. A second curved portion is formed opposite to the first curved portion and is connected slowly to the first curved portion to thereby form a curve closed face. A pair of outside passages is disposed on the outermost both ends of the plurality of inside passages.

  • Patent number: 5711480
Abstract: Communication between the various elements of HVAC systems is effected by means of low-cost, low-power, narrow-band AM SAW-stabilized transmitters 21, 27, 39, 86 and receivers 18, 28, 47, 89. A residential embodiment (FIG. 1) transmits temperature information from each room of the house to a master control 24, which is used to control the HVAC demand and to control the damper in the corresponding room. In a first commercial building embodiment (FIGS. 2 and 3), thermostat/transceiver 61-66 assemblies transmit not only demand and control information from the corresponding thermostat 78 (with switches), but relay information transmitted from other thermostat/transceiver assemblies, whereby messages are retransmitted from one floor to the next to overcome the high attenuation of commercial building construction in reaching rooftop HVAC systems 71-76. In a second commercial building embodiment (FIG.
