  • Patent number: 5799454
Abstract: A heat-insulating outer wall for a building includes an inner air gap (7) with a partitioning wall (12) which separates the inner air gap into a first part (7a) and a second part (7b), which at the top is equipped with an outlet opening (11). The second part (7b) is equipped at the bottom with a heater (13). Airflow-regulator (15) is positioned in suitable places in the wall in order to limit the airflow in the case of large air pressure differences.

  • Patent number: 4859887
Abstract: A synchronous machine having a rotor with a plurality of salient poles which are supported by a rotor rim. The rotor rim is arranged by means of a hollow annular device in mechanical connection with a rotor hub, cooling gas flowing into the annular device relatively close to the hub and leaving at the rotor rim, flowing through cooling ducts in the rotor and stator, through a cooler and out into a cooling gas space which includes a plurality of guide vanes arranged so that the cooling gas on its way from the cooler to the hollow, annular device passes through the guide vanes and is thus put in rotation around the axis of rotation of the rotor.

  • Patent number: 4028653
Abstract: In electrical equipment having windings with radial channels therethrough, which may be formed by spacing coils apart in the axial direction, and which coils are spaced from the inner and outer insulating cylinders, there are provided alternately along the length of the device guide members which have head portions which fill the spaces between the coils and the insulating cylinders and fit against the insulating cylinders, together with downwardly projecting wedge-like tongues which provide spaces of gradual decreasing cross-section, the tongues over-lapping at least two of the passages so that the flowing coolant is distributed between the passages as equally as possible.
