The sleeve body includes a tubular wall with an inner axial passage configured to receive a rod of a headrest and at least one elastomeric element overmolded to an outer surface of the sleeve device. The elastomeric elements may be provided in the form of ribs, rings, or other shapes. Additionally or alternatively, the sleeve device includes a latching mechanism having one or more flexible tabs configured to limit lateral and/or vertical movement.
