  • Patent number: 9335294
Abstract: The present invention related to a test strip and a method for humidity detection. The test strip comprises two humidity detecting materials for detecting humidity change and one of the humidity detecting materials is exposed to outer environment. Detect the two humidity changes to obtain a ratio that is used for comparing with a value and then it can prevent from exceeding a predetermined humidity value, and whereby the test strip and the method could achieve the goal of simple humidity detection.

  • Publication number: 20150276670
Abstract: The present invention related to an electrochemical biosensing meter, a system and a measuring method for analyte measurement incorporating filled sample detection. The method comprises detecting a third electrical signal obtained from a second electrode pair on a test strip and detecting a second electrical signal obtained from a first electrode pair on the test strip. The second electrode pair is close to a sample entrance of a sample chamber and the first electrode pair is far away from the sample entrance of the sample chamber. The third electrical signal is used for detecting the state of the sample chamber when sufficiently filled. Compare the second electrical signal and the third electrical signal to determine the distribution state of the sample in the sample chamber. Therefore, it increases the credibility for the entire sample chamber sufficiently filled with the sample.

  • Publication number: 20120247956
Abstract: The present invention is related to a biosensor strip and a manufacturing method thereof. The biosensor strip comprises an electrode layer that has a first electrode pattern and a second electrode pattern. The two electrode patterns are provided on a base by different manufacturing methods. The first electrode pattern is made by a first electrically conductive material that may consist of precious metal and the second electrode pattern is made by a second electrically conductive material that may not consist of precious metal.

  • Publication number: 20110139634
Abstract: The present invention is related to an electrochemical biosensing test strip, biosensing meter, system and method for analyte measurement incorporating a hematocrit correction. The biosensor strip comprises a first and a second electrode sets respectively for detecting analyte concentration and hematocrit level. The first and second electrode sets are respectively corresponding to different reaction zones and a reaction reagent is only formed on the first electrode set corresponding reaction zone. Applying a first signal comprising a DC component and a second signal comprising an AC component that has a constant frequency respectively to the first and second electrode sets can respectively detect an uncorrected analyte concentration and hematocrit level. Therefore, the corrected analyte concentration is more accurate by incorporating the hematocrit correction.
