  • Patent number: 4866765
Abstract: A toy type children telephone set, which mainly comprises a full functional telephone printed circuit board (abbreviated TPCB thereafter). The TPCB is encased in a toy-shaped outer case, instead of a traditional ringing bell. The TPCB is provided with an IC sound generator circuit, which produces a crying, laughing, or singing sound correlating to the embodied toy shape of the outer case when this telephone set is rung. Moreover, in the audio circuit of this TPCB, it is provided with an audio signal conversion circuit, so that through a bridge inverter it controls the rotation of a permanent magnet motor, this motor in turn drives the upper and lower lips at the head portion of the toy-shaped outer case to open or close by following the audio sound signal fluctuation via a driven mechanism and leaf spring switches, which attracts the children to use this telephone set happily.

  • Patent number: 4767374
Abstract: A synchronized drive device for the lips of a doll arranged to be driven in response to audio signals from a receiver or sound carrier within the doll. The device is entirely self-contained and insertable into and removable from the doll. It includes extending drive arms which may be connected to the lips of the doll. The device comprises a mouth frame, a principal machine for producing the audio signal and a control box and the connection from the control box to the upper jaw and lower jaw. The central part of the mouth frame receives the control box which can be connected to the mouth portion. The control box has drive rods for the upper and lower jaws driven from the control box. The control box includes an electromagnetic motor which is responsive in its operation to the audio output of the principal machine within the doll to rotate a gear that is connected to the drive rods to pivot them. The sound device drives the motor to move in forward and return directions to move the jaws apart and together.

  • Patent number: 4755161
Abstract: A toy vehicle having a toy body, with a motor geared down to drive the rear wheels, and a geared annular hub with adjustable multi-directional adjustment devices mounted on the periphery of the geared annular hub, with projections which contact either an upper rod or a lower rod, or neither, during rotation of the annular hub, causing front heels of the toy to turn to the left, right or maintain straight travel respectively. After the upper or lower rod pivots to move a respective spring connected other upper or lower rod respectively, the front wheels are deflected to the left or right in travel, and tension springs fixed between a forward shifting transverse rod and the toy body immediately pull the front wheel turn mechanism back to its original position for continuance of straight line travel.

  • Patent number: 4569925
Abstract: A process for preparing a vanadium, phosphorus oxygen containing catalyst composition capable of partially oxidizing hydrocarbons (e.g., n-butane) to form a carboxylic anhydride (e.g., maleic anhydride), and a process for using this catalyst to form such anhydrides is disclosed. The catalyst composition is prepared by an organic solution technique followed by activation in an air-hydrocarbon atmosphere.
