Abstract: A firearm handguard assembly attachable to a receiver of a barrel of a firearm is disclosed. The firearm handguard assembly includes a barrel nut member, a locking sleeve member, a firearm handguard member and a plurality of fasteners. The locking sleeve member is disposed within an axial passage formed by the barrel nut member. A plurality of radial passages of the locking sleeve member are aligned with a plurality of radial passages of the barrel nut member. The firearm handguard member is arranged about the barrel nut member and the locking sleeve member such that the barrel nut member and the locking sleeve member are arranged within an axial passage of the firearm handguard member. The plurality of fasteners join the firearm handguard member to the barrel nut member and the locking sleeve member.

Abstract: A quick disconnect apparatus is disclosed. The quick disconnect apparatus includes a base member, a rail clamp member and a rail clamp adjustment device. The base member includes at least one passage. The rail clamp member includes a support bar receiving passage. The rail clamp member is movably-coupled to the base member. The rail clamp adjustment device is coupled to at least one of the base member and rail clamp member. The rail clamp adjustment device includes a pivot pin, a cam member including at least one offset passage and a support bar including a pivot-pin receiving passage. The support bar is inserted through the support bar receiving passage of the rail clamp member and a passage of the at least one passage of the base member to movably-couple the rail clamp member with the base member. The pivot pin is inserted through the at least one offset passage of the cam member and the pivot-pin receiving passage of the support bar to rotatably-couple the cam member relative the support bar.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes an adapter including a first body and a second body. A lower surface profile of the first body and the second body cooperate to form a first geometric mounting profile. An upper surface profile of the first body and the second body cooperate to form a second geometric mounting profile. The first geometric mounting profile is different from the second geometric mounting profile. Each of the first body and the second body forms at least one first aligned bore that receives a first fastener that connects the first body to the second body and a spring that biases the first body and the second body away from one another. An assembly is also disclosed. A method is also disclosed.

The hand guard rail system includes a hand guard and a sleeve fitted into the hand guard. The sleeve and the hand guard are fastened to the barrel nut, thereby aligning the hand guard to the firearm.

Abstract: A quick disconnect apparatus is disclosed. The quick disconnect apparatus includes a base member, a rail clamp member and a rail clamp adjustment device. The base member includes at least one passage. The rail clamp member includes a support bar receiving passage. The rail clamp member is movably-coupled to the base member. The rail clamp adjustment device is coupled to at least one of the base member and rail clamp member. The rail clamp adjustment device includes a pivot pin, a cam member including at least one offset passage and a support bar including a pivot-pin receiving passage. The support bar is inserted through the support bar receiving passage of the rail clamp member and a passage of the at least one passage of the base member to movably-couple the rail clamp member with the base member. The pivot pin is inserted through the at least one offset passage of the cam member and the pivot-pin receiving passage of the support bar to rotatably-couple the cam member relative the support bar.

Abstract: A firearm target illumination implement is disclosed. The firearm target illumination implement includes a body that is adapted for removable-attachment to a barrel of a firearm. According to an embodiment, the firearm target illumination implement includes an illumination device disposed in the body and a plurality of illumination device actuators ambidextrously-arranged on the body to provide control of on/off switching and focusing of light emitted from the illumination device. According to an embodiment, the firearm target illumination implement includes a mounting plate that is removably-secured to the body, at least one fastener that passes through the mounting plate and into the body, and a portion of the at least one fastener that provides tactile feedback to an operator when the at least one fastener is moved by the operator from a first position to a second position.
