    Abstract: A bactericide composition kills Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus), Escherichia coli (E. coli), Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) and comprises a solvent and L-ascorbic acid. The L-ascorbic acid is dissolved in the solvent in a range of 1 wt % to 40 wt %. Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is water-soluble and is essential for people. Thus, ascorbic acid contacting people will not harm them, and if a person inhales ascorbic acid, ascorbic acid will be metabolized and excreted out of person's body. Therefore, the bactericide composition is safe and not harmful to a person's health.
