    Abstract: Decorative pleats have two cuts made in each of two or more pleats and the fold of the pleat is reversed between the cuts. When used as a decorative display for a photograph, picture, merchandise or other item, the cuts may be made angularly to hold the item in place. Cuts may be perpendicular to the fold of the pleat, angular to the fold, zigzag, curvilinear or of other shape. The pleats may be a blind, a lantern or of other shape.
