  • Patent number: 7309740
Abstract: A biaxially stretched polypropylene film of the present invention has high stiffness in the film longitudinal direction and can be manufactured by a conventional longitudinal-transverse sequential biaxial stretching method, since the biaxially stretched polypropylene film comprises a polypropylene which comprises a polypropylene having controlled specific values of a melt strength (MS) and a melt flow rate (MFR) at 230° C. or consists of a polypropylene having controlled specific values of a melt strength (MS) and a melt flow rate (MFR) at 230° C. and/or a Trouton ratio of the polypropylene is controlled at a specific value, moreover, the biaxially stretched polypropylene film contains regulated longitudinal fibrils.

  • Publication number: 20020160201
Abstract: Disclosed is a biodegradable oriented film of a plasticizer-containing biodegradable resin, of which the both surfaces are coated with at least one thin layer and of which the loop stiffness change (&Dgr;R) after heat treatment at 130° C. for 30 minutes is at most 20%. This is favorable for wrapping films.

  • Patent number: 5242645
Abstract: A rubber-reinforcing polyester fiber composed of a polyester prepared by using 30 to 150 ppm as antimony of an antimony compound and 5 to 60 ppm as germanium of a germanium compound as the polymerization catalyst. The fiber is characterized in that the terminal carboxyl group content is not larger than 25 eq/ton, diethylene glycol content (DEG) is not larger than 1.3% by weight, the intrinsic viscosity (IV) is at least 0.85, the sum (S) of the intermediate elongation and the dry heat shrinkage is lower than 8%, the product between strength and elongation (T.sqroot.E) is at least (2S+5), and the terminal modulus (TM) is not higher than 40 g/d. The polyester fiber is used as a rubber reinforcement.
