  • Patent number: 10003244
Abstract: A squirrel-cage rotor including a rotor which has a plurality of rotor slots on an outer circumferential portion thereof and in which secondary conductors accommodated in the rotor slots rotate freely inside a stator as a result of interaction with a rotating magnetic field formed by the stator. The plurality of rotor slots has the same shape and size, and an arrangement spacing thereof with respect to the rotation direction of the rotor is made uneven within a slot uneven arrangement period (360/(a))° obtained by equally dividing one rotation period of the rotor by a divisor (a) of a number p of poles in the stator.

  • Patent number: 9966824
Abstract: A first stator core and a second stator ore are configured by arranging core block pairs into an annular shape, the core block pairs being configured by stacking together core blocks so as to be spaced apart axially, each of the core blocks including a core back portion and one tooth, and a permanent magnet is configured so as to be divided into a plurality of magnet blocks that each include: a base portion; one shaft portion that protrudes radially inward from an inner circumferential surface of the base portion; and flange portions that protrude on two circumferential sides from a radially inner end portion of the shaft portion, the magnet blocks being held between the core block pairs such that the base portion and the shaft portion are positioned inside the core block pairs and such that the flange portions protrude circumferentially from the core block pairs.

  • Publication number: 20170366129
Abstract: A pole-number-changing rotary electric machine includes: a rotary electric machine; an n-group inverter; and a control unit for controlling the n-group inverter, wherein the control unit controls current phases of a current flowing through stator coils such that a current phase degree of freedom, which is a number of current phases per pole pair controllable by the n-group inverter, is equal to a number of groups n×a number of phases m/2 at a time of high polarity driving and the number of groups n×the number of phases m at a time of low polarity driving, where the number of groups n is a multiple of 4 and the number of phases m is a natural number of 3 or more and relatively prime to the number of groups n.

  • Patent number: 9806589
Abstract: A squirrel-cage rotor manufacturing method capable of suppressing, at the time of performing die-casting, formation of gaps between closing portions and a rotor core at radially outer parts of rotor slots, or generation of a thermal stress in the rotor core as a result of expansion of the closing portions. The squirrel-cage rotor manufacturing method includes: arranging, through die-casting, conductors into rotor slots that are formed along a radially outer part of a rotor core; and performing the die-casting under a state in which radially outer parts of the rotor slots are closed with closing portions made of the same material as a material of the rotor core.
