  • Patent number: 6252002
Abstract: The present invention provides a methyl methacrylate resin composition including (A) about 90 to 99% by weight of a methyl methacrylate polymer with a branched structure having a weight average molecular weight of about 80,000 to 400,000 and a molecular weight between branch points, defined by using a z-average molecular weight, of about 30,000 to 500,000 and (B) about 10 to 1% by weight of a high molecular weight methyl methacrylate polymer having a weight average molecular weight of about 1,000,000 to 5,000,000, which exhibits little drawdown in heat molding and is suitable especially for the production of large molded articles by extrusion molding, blow molding and expansion molding.

  • Patent number: 5958574
Abstract: A polyolefin resin composition comprising (a) 100 parts by weight of a polyolefin resin and (b) 0.05 to 1 part by weight of beads of a crosslinked polymer comprising (1) 5 to 99% by weight of a radically polymerizable monomer unit represented by the general formula (A): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms and R.sub.2 is a hydrocarbon group having 5 to 30 carbon atoms, (2) 0 to 94% by weight of a radically polymerizable monomer unit other than the monomer unit of the general formula (A), and (3) 1 to 20% by weight of a crosslinkable monomer unit, said crosslinked polymer beads having a critical surface tension of 40 dyne/cm or less.

  • Patent number: 5639537
Abstract: A polypropylene resin composition for oriented film excellent in transparency, slip property and blocking resistance which comprises the following components (a) and (b), and an oriented film obtained by orienting the composition at least in uniaxial direction:(a) 100 parts by weight of a crystalline polypropylene resin, and(b) 0.05 or more but less than 1 part by weight of crosslinked polymer beads which have a weight average particle diameter of 0.5-5 .mu.m, comprise 60-96% by weight of styrenic monomer units, 2-38% by weight of radical-polymerizable monomer units, the refractive index of the polymer of the radical-polymerizable monomer being 1.50 or less, and 2-50% by weight of crosslinkable monomer units, and give an average protuberance height of 60-600 nm on the surface of oriented film obtained by kneading the crosslinked polymer beads into the polypropylene resin followed by working up into oriented film.

  • Patent number: 5035397
Abstract: Disclosed is an engine mount apparatus for mounting an engine on the chassis of a vehicle. An engine mount body adapted to be fixed to the chassis is provided with stud bolts extending vertically downwardly thereof. A bracket having through holes corresponding to the stud bolts disposed on the engine to be mounted is secured to the engine at a predetermined position thereof. To mount the engine on the chassis, the engine is lifted up from below the chassis, the stud bolts are inserted through the through holes, the engine mount body and the bracket are fitted with each other and secured by means of nuts.
