Patent number: 7813975Abstract: When inconsistency occurs between data presented from individual group enterprises, causes of the inconsistency cannot be specified easily in a conventional consolidated settlement processing method. In the embodiments of the invention, an XBRL conversion module converts inputted account data into data resulting from synthesis of standard data and extended data by using a mapping table and transmits the converted data to a data separation module. The data separation module separates the standard data and extended data of the received data and stores these types of data in corresponding storage tables while adding them with information for mutual relevancy. In this manner, when inconsistency occurs during a consolidated settlement process, causes of the inconsistency can be specified easily by acquiring the extended data.Type: GrantFiled: January 8, 2004Date of Patent: October 12, 2010Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Norio Takahashi, Toshiyuki Yamagishi, Taiki Sakata

Publication number: 20040095349Abstract: According to the invention, visualization and analysis of multidimensional data is performed in an automated environment. Embodiments according to the present invention are especially effective for analyzing the course of clinical procedures, but it is not only limited to these types of applications. The present invention can also be applied to healthcare risk analysis for many factors, analyses of industrial production control, and any analyses using multidimensional data. The present invention provides systems, methods and software that can be used to distribute and share the results of analyses.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 14, 2003Publication date: May 20, 2004Applicant: Hitachi America, Ltd.Inventors: Yoshitaka Bito, Yoichi Shintani, Taiki Sakata, Hitoshi Matsuo

Patent number: 6643646Abstract: A method of analyzing data contained in a very large database or data warehouse includes applying first a patient rule induction method with selected input variables and an output variable to develop a region containing a subset of database records having a highest average output value. Then, the subset of records may be aggregated, sorted, compared, or new measures computed, preferably using an on line analytical processing function, for an pattern analysis of the subset records. An alternative is to apply a weighted item set function to the subset to produce a reduced subset, and then applying the reduced subset to on line analytical processing for pattern analysis.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2001Date of Patent: November 4, 2003Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Hua-Ching Su, Taiki Sakata, Charles Herman, Steven Dolins

Publication number: 20030198850Abstract: A structured document mapping apparatus that correlates items included in text document data inputted to items of hierarchical document having attributes and a structure. The structured document mapping apparatus refers to at least one of a standard taxonomy and a corporation-unique taxonomy, and automatically maps the items of the input text document according to the rules stored in a search database and creates an XBRL document that corresponds to attributes and structure of the standard taxonomy or the corporation-unique taxonomy.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 21, 2002Publication date: October 23, 2003Applicant: HITACHI, LTD.Inventors: Ayane Suzuki, Katsuhiko Yuura, Taiki Sakata
