    Abstract: A personalized medication management and alert method and system is provided. The method includes, creating a user profile based at least upon received user genetic information, storing the user profile in memory on a computer, updating the user profile based on received user personal information, the received personal information including any medications currently used by the user, comparing, by a processor, information in the updated user profile to information in a medication-interaction database, and based on the comparing, determining whether there exists at least one interaction between the information in the updated user profile and the information in the medication-interaction database.
