    Abstract: In a control method of establishing a wireless network connection through a modulation tone, a first device broadcasts a connection modulation tone, which provides connection data. The connection data includes a network name, a password and an Internet protocol (IP) address. A second device detects the connection modulation tone and demodulates the connection modulation tone to obtain the connection data. Thus, the second device can connect to a wireless access point according to the connection data. Consequently, the user needs not to set the connection data by himself or herself, and the user only needs to move the second device near the first device to establish the connection in a convenient manner.

    Abstract: A lighting-dimming device has a dimming module with an encoding function and at least one light module with a decoding function and controlled by the dimming module. The dimming module is designated with a required brightness and address command by a user. A triode AC switch of the dimming module is controlled to chop a power based on the required brightness and address command. The chopped power is transmitted to the light module to control the brightness of the light module. In the chopped power, only a part of cycles of the power is chopped and most of the power waveforms are maintained. Therefore, a high power factor is maintained.

    Abstract: A global positioning system (GPS) log with low power consumption has an antenna, a GPS module, a power control module, a main control module, a power adjusting unit and a memory. The main control module is connected to the GPS module and the power control module to retrieve the computing results of the GPS module and controls the power control module to periodically provide power to the GPS module according to a predetermined and variable power providing period. The power adjusting unit is connected to the main control module, analyzes the computing results of the GPS module and assists the main control module to adjust the power providing period. Since the main control module automatically adjusts the power providing period, the GPS log does not deplete unnecessary power on the GPS module. Therefore, the power consumption of the GPS log is reduced and the GPS operates longer.

    Abstract: A digitized FM (frequency modulation) stereo multiplexing circuit for an FM stereo transmitter has a digital audio I/O interface, a digitized FM stereo multiplexing circuit, a low-pass filter and an FM circuit. When a digital audio data is inputted, a digital audio decoder decodes the digital audio data to acquire left and right channel audio signals. The left and right channel audio signals are inputted to an over-sampling unit circuits to process sampling and then to output to an FM stereo multiplexer. The FM stereo multiplexer then generates a master signal and a secondary signal by processing the sampled left and right channel audio signals. In the meanwhile a switch signal and a pilot signal are acquired with an address counter to output from a memory unit. Then the master signal, the secondary signal and the pilot signal are combined as the digital FM stereo data.

    Abstract: A universal remote controller is used to remotely control electronic devices and has a casing, a memory module, a control panel, an IR module and a wireless transmission module. The memory module is mounted in the casing and has a storage unit and at least one I/O interface. The storage unit stores digital image data of internal settings of the universal remote controller and communication protocol codes of electronic devices initialized with the remote controller. The control panel is mounted in and is exposed through the casing, has multiple control keys and is capable of generating control signals in response to specific control keys pressed. The wireless transmission module decodes and transforms digital data in the storage unit into television carrier signals and transmits the television carrier signals to a television when the universal remote controller is near the television.

    Abstract: A wireless transmission method for electronic apparatuses to transmit audio and visual signals to a television and device thereof include steps as follows. First, audio and visual signals that electronic apparatuses desire to play are modulated. Then the modulated audio and visual signals are transformed to television carrier signals via a low-power television signals wireless transmitter. The television carrier signals are sent to a television by setting the electronic apparatuses near the television. With a very short distance between the electronic apparatuses and the television, the transmitted carrier signals can go through the television to a tuner inside the television, then the tuner can direct receive the television carrier signals. In this way, the transmission method of the present invention does not need signal transmission lines between the electronic apparatuses and the television.

    Abstract: A digital photo frame having auto-adjusting capability to match a picture and a display panel includes a frame body, an input and output interface, a control unit, an image processing unit, and a display panel and a control panel. The control unit determines whether a picture matches with the display panel according to a digital image format of the picture. If the picture matches with the display panel, the picture is direct displayed on the display panel. If the picture mismatches with the display panel, the control unit rotates the picture and then to display the picture on the display panel. Therefore, the picture can be auto-adjusted to match with the display panel.
