Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a fixing device, a temperature detector, and processing circuitry. The fixing device fixes a toner image on a surface of a sheet by heating of a heater. The temperature detector detects an internal temperature of the image forming apparatus. The processing circuitry switches a continuous print mode to an intermittent print mode when the internal temperature is equal to or higher than a first execution temperature during the continuous print mode. The processing circuitry cancels the intermittent print mode and switches to the continuous print mode when the internal temperature is equal to or lower than a first cancellation temperature. The processing circuitry causes the heater to stop heating the fixing device in the intermittent print mode when the internal temperature is higher than the first cancellation temperature even after a predetermined time has elapsed since a start of the intermittent print mode.

Abstract: A health data management system includes a health data measurement apparatus and a health management server communicable therewith. The apparatus includes medical and health equipment that measures health data of a user and first circuitry that collects the health data. The management server includes a first memory that stores the health data from the apparatus and second circuitry. Based on the stored health data, the second circuitry generates health management data representing a health state of the user, and analyzes at least one of an item indicating a worsening health state of the user, an item with insufficient measurement data, or an item lacking measurement data as a required check item. When determined that the health management data includes the required check item, the second circuitry transmits to the apparatus a message prompting the user to take a measurement of the required check item, and requests the health data.

Abstract: In an authenticity determination system, an image forming apparatus acquires apparatus identification information for identifying the image forming apparatus from a memory of the image forming apparatus, and consumables container identification information for identifying a container of predetermined consumables from the container of the consumables mounted in the image forming apparatus. A server stores the apparatus identification information and the consumables container identification information in association with each other, receives the apparatus identification information and the consumables container identification information transmitted from the image forming apparatus, and determines whether the received apparatus identification information and the received consumables container identification information are stored in association with each other.
