The image formation apparatus forms image light. The projection lens projects the image light. The measurement apparatus measures the image light. The control apparatus controls the image formation apparatus on the basis of output of the measurement apparatus. The measurement assisting apparatus is disposed between the image formation apparatus and the projection lens and is configured to be capable of selectively switching between a first state to cause the image light to enter the projection lens and a second state to cause the image light to enter the measurement apparatus.
