Abstract: The invention is a method for producing a composite membrane useful as a functional membrane which comprises mixing polyamide and polyester in a solvent to obtain a mixed solution and preparing the membrane while removing the solvent from the mixed solution under an electric field and the composite membrane obtained by the above method.
