  • Publication number: 20240134934
Abstract: An information processing device 1 includes a calculation unit 13 that calculates a degree of overlapping between a probability distribution of each probability value included in a row i or a column i of a semantic similarity matrix, and a probability distribution of respective probability values included in a row j or a column j (j?i) of the waveform similarity matrix as a degree of unexpectedness between an i-th word and a j-th word using the semantic similarity matrix in which elements are probability values in one row or one column of a semantic similarity between words of a plurality of words and the waveform similarity matrix in which elements are probability values in one row or one column of a waveform similarity between time-series data of time-series data related to the words.

  • Publication number: 20240119117
Abstract: A device includes: a data set including multiple sets in which two pieces of time-series data are respectively recorded; an analysis unit that obtains evaluation values representing a relationship between the two pieces by different analysis methods for each set; a combination extraction unit that extracts combinations of the sets having different trends in change in the evaluation values associated with the analysis methods; a grouping unit that classifies the analysis methods according to the evaluation values for each combination, and records results associated with the sets; an inquiry unit that presents the time-series data of each set to a user, and inquires which sets have similar time-series data; a scoring unit that adds a score of the analysis method belonging to the group having a better evaluation value for the set determined to be more similar; and a selection unit that repeats each process and selects an analysis method.

  • Publication number: 20060034788
Abstract: There is provided a cosmetic, particularly a skin cosmetic, excellent in imparting transparency (transparent feeling) to the skin, conditioning the skin texture and making wrinkles and hair follicles imperceptible when applied. The cosmetic comprises a powder of porous spherical silica having an average particle size (based on volume) from 3.0 to 20 ?m, a maximum particle size of 50 ?m or smaller, and a pore volume from 1.5 to 3.0 cm3/g, wherein the powder is characterized in that the minimum value of dlog (storage elasticity)/dlog (shear stress) is ?10 or more, when 40 g of squalane is added to 15 cm3 of apparent volume of said powder of porous spherical silica, the resulting paste is charged in thickness of 2 mm between parallel plates of 2.

  • Patent number: 6296860
Abstract: Pigments and extender pigments coated with a mixture comprising at least N-acyl forms of naturally existing 14 amino acids, in particular, pigments and extender pigments processed with a mixture comprising at least N-acyl forms of 14 amino acids, obtainable from or obtained on hydrolysis of any one of animal proteins, such as silk and pearl, and plant proteins, such as wheat and soybeans, which can be mixed into cosmetics, and also cosmetics comprising the coated pigments and extender pigments are provided. Such N-acyl form therein may be in the salt form. The obtained pigments and extender pigments coated therewith in the present invention has extremely smooth tactile feeling, that is an optimum affinity to skin and/or hair (biocompatibility) when used in cosmetics, excellent application feeling on skin and/or hair without coarse feeling, and hence suitable for the powders in cosmetics to be combined.
