  • Patent number: 12010791
Abstract: A device includes an elastic base, a device body provided on the base, a wiring line provided on the base, a coupling member coupled to the wiring line, and an electrically conductive adhesive layer provided between the wiring line and the coupling member. The wiring line extends from the electrically conductive adhesive layer to the device body. The wiring line has a wiring portion overlapping with the electrically conductive adhesive layer. The degree of polymerization of the electrically conductive adhesive layer decreases in the extending direction of the wiring portion.

  • Patent number: 10840472
Abstract: A display device having light emitting elements that respectively include a first electrode formed on a substrate, a laminated structure formed on the first electrode, and a second electrode formed on the laminated structure. The laminated structure is formed by laminating, in the following order from the first electrode side, at least a first organic layer including a first light emitting layer, a charge generation layer in which a first layer into which a first carrier is injected and a second layer into which a second carrier is injected are laminated, and a second organic layer including a second light emitting layer. In a light emitting element including a defect region, the charge generation layer is in a high electrical resistance state or an insulated state in the defect region, while being in a low electrical resistance state in a region other than the defect region.

  • Patent number: 9263694
Abstract: There is provided an organic EL element including a light emitting unit including at least a plurality of light emitting layers each containing an organic compound and emitting light when a predetermined potential difference is supplied and an intermediate layer that is arranged between the light emitting layers to inject electric charge into the light emitting layers, an anode and a cathode between which the light emitting unit is interposed in a stacking direction and which supply the predetermined potential difference to the light emitting unit, and a potential control mechanism configured to control potential of the intermediate layer in a manner that the potential is set to potential between potential of the anode and potential of the cathode.

  • Patent number: 5896006
Abstract: Metal electrodes (cathode) are made from a plurality of materials wherein they are not simply superposed one another along the sectional direction, but the metal electrodes (cathode) are in contact with an organic thin film in such that they exhibit a difference in magnitude of work functions dependent upon their disposed positions in the plane. More specifically, a local metal electrode being in contact with the organic thin film inside a light-emitting device in the plane is formed from a material having a small work function, while the peripheral metal electrode which encloses the local metal electrode, wiring sections other than the light-emitting device and the like are formed from materials each having a lager work function than that of the local metal electrode.
