  • Patent number: 10158848
Abstract: A projection video display that projects video image suppresses deterioration of its quality which is attributed to a change in an optical path of the video image. A video signal generator performs control such that a second subframe in an N-th frame in a left-eye image is displayed on DMDs and then a second subframe in an N-th frame in a right-eye image is displayed on the DMDs. Furthermore, the video signal generator performs control such that a displayed location is not changed on a screen and the same types of subframes are displayed at the time when frames are switched.

  • Publication number: 20180313851
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a biomarker capable of determining the onset risk or the stage of diabetic nephropathy (early-stage diabetic nephropathy in particular). Diabetic nephropathy is determined by measuring or quantitatively determining a concentration of phenyl sulfate or a salt thereof (a phenyl sulfate) contained in a biological sample, preferably plasma or urine, collected from a test subject to detect a phenyl sulfate. The present invention exhibits excellent effects particularly for stage determination for stage 1 (pre-nephropathy stage) to stage 3 (overt nephropathy stage), or for determination of onset risk of diabetic nephropathy (diabetic nephropathy at pre-nephropathy stage).

  • Patent number: 10091477
Abstract: The projection image display apparatus includes a display element that emits image light generated by modulating light from a light source based, a pixel-shifter that shifts a pixel of a projected image by changing an optical path of the image light, a resampling circuit, a motion-interpolation image processing circuit, and a pixel-shift controller. The resampling circuit generates a plurality of sub-frame image signals having a resolution of the display element, by resampling an image signal having a resolution of the projected image. The motion-interpolation image processing circuit provides a motion-interpolation image process to the sub-frame image signals. The pixel-shift controller receives the sub-frame image signals having undergone the motion-interpolation image process.

  • Patent number: 9666858
Abstract: A negative electrode for a secondary battery according to the present invention has a collector and a negative electrode active material layer formed on a surface of the collector and containing negative electrode active material particles. In the negative electrode active material layer, an insulating material is arranged between the negative electrode active material particles so as not to develop conductivity by a percolation path throughout the negative electrode active material layer. It is possible in this configuration to effectively prevent the occurrence of a short-circuit current due to an internal short circuit and the generation of heat due to such short-circuit current flow in the secondary battery while securing the battery performance of the secondary battery.
