  • Patent number: 11972934
Abstract: There is provided a technique that includes: performing a set a plurality of times, the set including: (a) loading at least one substrate into a process container; (b) performing a process of forming a nitride film on the at least one substrate by supplying a film-forming gas to the at least one substrate supported by a support in the process container; (c) unloading the processed at least one substrate from an interior of the process container; and (d) supplying an oxidizing gas into the process container from which the processed at least one substrate has been unloaded so as to oxidize one part of the nitride film formed inside the process container in (b) into an oxide film and maintain another part of the nitride film, which is different from the one part of the nitride film, as it is without oxidizing the another part.

  • Patent number: 7938036
Abstract: A motorcycle in which the clutch on-off operation and the gear-shift operation of the transmission are automated that can be driven when the actuator fails without complication of the structure and upsizing of the power unit. A crankcase of a power unit accommodates a transmission including a plurality of gears, a gear-shift clutch that is engaged or disengaged at gear-shift operation, and a shift shaft that engages or disengages the clutch and provides gear change of the transmission. Part of the shift shaft projects from the crankcase. A projecting portion of the shift shaft and an output shaft of an actuator are connected together on the outside of the crankcase with a connecting device. The connecting device is detachably connected to the projecting portion of the shift shaft or the output shaft of the actuator.

  • Patent number: 7882756
Abstract: A shift actuator disposed outside a power unit that is easily positioned in the neutral position during mounting. A motorcycle equipped with a shift actuator includes a transmission; a shift shaft for changing the gears of the transmission; and a crankcase that covers the shift shaft and the transmission. The shift actuator includes a motor; an output shaft connected to the shift shaft with a connecting device therebetween; a worm gear interposed between the motor and the output shaft; a case supporting the motor, the output shaft, and the worm gear; and a potentiometer supported by the case and sensing the position of the output shaft. The worm gear transfers a driving force from the motor to the output shaft but transfers no driving force from the output shaft to the motor.

  • Patent number: 7451744
Abstract: A vehicle is capable of preventing the temperature of the fuel injector from becoming high due to engine heat and also facilitating installation and maintenance of the fuel injector. The vehicle includes a head pipe, a body frame coupled with the head pipe and extending downward to the rear, an engine arranged below the body frame, a cylinder axis of the engine being oriented substantially horizontal, an intake passage for supplying air to the engine, and a fuel injector mounted on a midsection of the intake passage for supplying fuel to the engine. At least a portion of the fuel injector is arranged forward relative to a centerline of the intake passage when viewed from the side of the vehicle body.

  • Patent number: 7237534
Abstract: A vehicle is capable of improving layout flexibility for a fuel injector to an intake passage and preventing fuel from sticking to the inner wall surface of the intake passage. The vehicle includes an engine, an intake passage arranged to supply air to the engine, and a fuel injector mounted on a midsection of the intake passage and arranged to supply fuel to the engine. The intake passage is arranged to continue from the inlet opening of the engine. The intake passage includes an intake passage portion having an upper section extending upward substantially in the vertical direction and an intake passage portion arranged to continue from the upper section of the intake passage portion and have a section bent in the lateral direction of the vehicle body. The fuel injector is mounted to the intake passage portion having the section that is bent in the lateral direction of the vehicle body.
