  • Publication number: 20220135384
Abstract: A mover control method includes decision processing and control processing. The decision processing is the processing of determining whether or not a mover that is carrying an object thereon is going to deviate from a traveling route, through which the mover, as well as the object, is allowed to pass. The control processing (first control processing) is the processing of controlling the mover based on a result of the decision processing.

  • Patent number: 8422772
Abstract: A decoding device decodes coded image data having a plurality of color components and includes a variable length decoding unit that performs variable length decoding on the coded image data to generate variable length decoded data. A separation unit separates the plurality of color components to a predetermined number of color components, and obtains, from the variable length decoded data generated by the variable length decoding unit, each of pieces of data to be decoded in decoding processes, as necessary data required in at least one of decoding processes, and the decoding processes each corresponding to a corresponding component of the predetermined number of color components. Each of the image reconstruction units corresponds to a corresponding component of the predetermined number of color components, and generates, in parallel, decoded images regarding the respective components using the necessary data obtained by the separation unit.

  • Publication number: 20110032993
Abstract: An image memory access control unit (502) judges whether or not an additional pixel required for motion compensation is necessary, the additional pixel not being included in a plurality of pixels forming an image shown by a reference block. When the additional pixel is judged to be necessary, a yet-to-be-obtained-pixel interpolating unit (503) generates at least one additional pixel, and generates a reference image to be used for motion compensation using the generated at least one additional pixel and at least a part of the image shown by the reference block. When the additional pixel is judged to be unnecessary, the yet-to-be-obtained-pixel interpolating unit (503) outputs at least a part of the image shown by the reference block as the reference image.

  • Publication number: 20110026593
Abstract: An image processing apparatus (10) capable of reducing the bandwidth and capacity required for a frame memory and preventing image quality degradation includes: a selecting unit (14) that selectively switches between first and second processing modes, a frame memory (12); a storing unit (11) that (i) down-samples an input image by deleting predetermined frequency information included in the input image and stores the input image as a down-sampled image in the frame memory (12) when the switching unit switches to the first processing mode, and (ii) stores the input image without down-sampling in the frame memory (12) when the switching unit switches to the second processing mode; and a reading unit (13) that (i) reads out the down-sampled image from the frame memory (12) and up-samples the down-sampled image when the switching unit switches to the first processing mode, and (ii) reads out the input image without down-sampling from the frame memory (12) when the switching unit switches to the second processing

  • Publication number: 20100215263
Abstract: A decoding device can prevent reduction in the efficiency of parallel processing, when coded image data is separated into pieces based on a plurality of color components. The decoding device (10) decodes coded image data having a plurality of color components and includes the following elements. A variable length decoding unit (301) performs variable length decoding on the coded image data to generate variable length decoded data. A separation unit (302) (i) separates the plurality of color components to a number of color components, and (ii) obtains, from the variable length decoded data generated by the variable length decoding unit (301), each of pieces of data to be decoded in decoding processes, as necessary data required in at least one of decoding processes, and the decoding processes each corresponding to a corresponding component of the number of color components.

  • Publication number: 20100040153
Abstract: A decoding apparatus is provided which can perform error concealment accurately by reducing false detection of an error and detecting an error efficiently. The decoding apparatus (100) which decodes a coded image coded on a per-block basis, includes: a variable length decoding unit (101) that decodes a coded image; an error occurrence position detection unit (109) that determines a candidate block on which an error has possibly occurred, by using a quantization parameter which is obtained for each block and which is resulting from the decoding by the variable length decoding unit (101); and an error correction unit (110) that corrects blocks including and following the candidate block determined by the error occurrence position detection unit (109).
