  • Patent number: 8669575
Abstract: In a light emitting module 40, light wavelength conversion ceramic 58 converts the wavelength of the light emitted by a semiconductor light emitting element 52. The light wavelength conversion ceramic 58 is made so transparent that the light wavelength conversion ceramic 58 has 40 percent or more of the total light transmittance of the light with a wavelength within the conversion wavelength range. A reflective film 60 is provided on the surface of the light wavelength conversion ceramic 58 and narrows down the emission area of the light that has transmitted the light wavelength conversion ceramic 58 to an area smaller than the light emitting area of the semiconductor light emitting element 52. In the case, the reflective film 60 guides the light such that the light is emitted in the direction approximately parallel to the light emitting surface of the light emitting element 52.

  • Patent number: 7525263
Abstract: A master unit and a plurality of slave units are connected by way of a communication path. The master unit sends to the slave units timing signals generated by its own cycle signal generator by way of a communication path. The slave units determine the cycle difference and the phase difference between a timing signal generated by its own cycle signal generator and the timing signal sent from the master unit and, in accordance therewith, determine a cycle adjustment amount. The cycle signal generators of the slave units adjust the timing signal cycle based on the cycle adjustment amount.

  • Patent number: 7432674
Abstract: A transmission path delay is set in a shift setting register. A slave unit generates a PRE_ITP signal in response to a timing signal (ITP signal) issued by a master unit. The phase difference between this PRE_ITP signal and the ITP signal unique to the slave unit is loaded into a period modification counter. A timer corrects a reference value, outputs position/speed control period signals (SYN signals) and counts down the period modification counter with these SYN signals until the period modification counter reaches zero. Furthermore, the ITP signal unique to the slave unit is outputted every time a predetermined number of the SYN signals are outputted.

  • Publication number: 20070018584
Abstract: A discharge bulb is equipped with an arc tube in which discharge electrodes are provided face to face and a luminescent material is filled together with a starting rare gas inside a ceramic tube. A metallic pipe is jointed into the pore of a tube end communicating with a discharge light emitting chamber. The rear end of an electrode rod inserted into the pipe is jointed to the pipe and its tip protrudes into the discharge light emitting chamber. A recess is circumferentially arranged on the inner peripheral surface of the pore between the tip of the pipe and the discharge light emitting chamber. The coldest point is in the recess so that a metal halide is not gathered in the micro-space and the metal halide contributing to discharge light emission does not decrease thus obtaining a desired luminous flux.
