  • Publication number: 20120156293
Abstract: A tablet having excellent disintegration properties, as a tableted product, for a long time and has excellent shape-retention stability by the improvement of the strength of the tablet. The antacid and laxative tablet comprises magnesium oxide particles as the main component, wherein (a) the average secondary particle diameter measured by a laser diffraction scattering method of the magnesium oxide particles is 0.5 to 10 ?m, (b) the content of the magnesium oxide particles is 85 to 96 wt %, (c) the content of crystalline cellulose as a binder is 2 to 8 wt %, (d) the content of croscarmellose sodium as a disintegrating agent-I is 0.8 to 2.5 wt %, (e) the content of insoluble polyvinyl pyrrolidone as a disintegrating agent-II is 1 to 3.5 wt %, and (f) the content of a lubricant is 0.5 to 2 wt %.

  • Patent number: 4467897
Abstract: A disc brake including a stationary carrier, a caliper slidably mounted on the carrier and straddling the outer circumference of a rotatable disc and having inner and outer leg portions, inner and outer friction pads slidably mounted on the carrier respectively, and a brake actuator incorporated in the inner leg portion of the caliper. First and second springs are mounted on the outer friction pad with the central portions thereof being secured to the outer friction pad respectively. The first spring has arm portions resiliently engaging with the outer leg portion of the caliper to press the outer friction pad toward the outer leg portion generally in the direction of the axis of the disc. The opposite end portions of the second spring are resiliently inserted into gaps formed between the circumferentially opposite ends of the outer friction pad and the carrier.

  • Patent number: 4164241
Abstract: A cap of resilient material such as rubber or the like has a generally cup-shaped form for covering at least the head portion of a bleed screw which is mounted on a body of a hydraulic component such as a hydraulic actuator or the like to normally close an air bleed passage formed in the component. The cap comprises a generally cylindrical skirt portion depending integrally from the cup-shaped portion to abut with the surface of the body of the hydraulic component, and a projection formed on the inner circumference of the cap for engaging with a small diameter portion formed on the bleed screw, whereby the lower end of the skirt portion is urged resiliently against the body of the hydraulic component.
