  • Publication number: 20160017591
Abstract: A concrete-structure connecting assembly includes a recessed frame body that defines a frame recess; a cushioning unit that is disposed in the frame recess and resiliently deformable; first and second hinge plates that are stacked together along a stacking direction and surrounded by the recessed frame body, each of the first and second hinge plates having a peripheral end portion that is disposed in the frame recess to abut against the cushioning unit; a first anchoring unit that substantially protrudes from the first hinge plate in the stacking direction away from the second hinge plate; and a second anchoring unit that substantially protrudes from the second hinge plate in the stacking direction away from the first hinge plate.

  • Patent number: 7600412
Abstract: To obtain data having high reliability required for determining bearing capacity of the pile in a short time and economically, a pseudostatic pile load testing method comprises processes that a drop height of a heavy weight (2) dropped on a pile head of a pile (1) is changed higher step by step, the heavy weight (2) is dropped from each of the heights, a time change of an acceleration of the pile head by that impact is determined by an accelerometer (4) installed at the pile head, and a displacement of the pile head is determined as an integrated value of the acceleration determined by the accelerometer (4).

  • Patent number: 5577857
Abstract: End plates are forcibly fixed on the longitudinal end surfaces of pillars such as foundation piles buried in the ground. The upper and lower end plates are butted, and are vertically held by a circumferential recessed groove on the inner surface of an inside ring which is divided in a plurality of parts in the circumferential direction. The inside ring is provided with a conical taper around the outside diameter surface. The conical taper is fastened by an outside ring externally fitted around the outside diameter surface of the inside ring, to join the pillars to each other. This joint structure is simple, and makes it possible to certainly join the pillars at the job site, without any welding. Moreover, there can be provided a tough joint structure against bending.

  • Patent number: 5391437
Abstract: A high-strength composite material obtained by kneading a mixture comprising a non-hydraulic inorganic material, a water-soluble polymer and water, molding the kneaded mixture, drying the thus molded material and, optionally, treating the dried molded material with an isocyanate compound, and a process for producing a high-strength composite material which comprises the steps of kneading a mixture comprising a non-hydraulic inorganic material, a water-soluble polymer and water, molding the kneaded mixture, and drying the thus molded material.
