Patent number: 11771845Abstract: A mesh nebulizer includes a main body with a recessed portion opening upward. The nebulizer includes a cap that covers an upper portion of the main body and a replacement element separate from the main body and the cap and detachably mountable in the recessed portion of the main body while being separated from the cap prior to operation of the nebulizer. The replacement element includes a sheet including a mesh portion, a bottom plate portion, and a sidewall portion. When the cap is closed with respect to the main body, the cap presses the upper edge of the sidewall portion of the replacement element toward an edge portion around the recessed portion to position the replacement element with respect to a longitudinal axis direction of the main body.Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 2020Date of Patent: October 3, 2023Assignee: OMRON HEALTHCARE CO., LTD.Inventors: Nobuhiko Osoegawa, Hiroyuki Shino, Takaaki Okanishi, Katsumi Matsuda, Takuya Togawa, Junji Kawamoto, Naoki Uchida, Yuka Tanioka

Patent number: 10799902Abstract: An ultrasonic nebulizer includes a tank unit configured to be detachable with respect to a main body. The tank unit includes a working tank in which an ultrasonic vibrator is incorporated, a medicine tank, and a medicine tank cover, which are arranged overlaid in the stated order. The output of an oscillation circuit in the main body is applied to the ultrasonic vibrator through a main body-side contact electrode and a tank-side contact electrode when the tank unit is mounted on the main body. The main body includes an air fan that blows air into the medicine tank through an air duct of the medicine tank cover, and a medicine tank cover detection unit that detects whether or not the air duct of the medicine tank cover is adjacent to the main body so as to detect whether or not the tank unit is mounted on the main body.Type: GrantFiled: September 7, 2017Date of Patent: October 13, 2020Assignee: OMRON HEALTHCARE CO., LTD.Inventors: Masao Maeda, Takaaki Okanishi, Makoto Tabata

Patent number: 10758685Abstract: An ultrasonic nebulizer includes a working tank configured to be detachable with respect to a main body. The working tank includes a rod-shaped tank-side contact electrode that extends in a vertical direction along an outer wall of the working tank. A specific portion that corresponds to a portion in a circumferential direction of the outer circumferential surface of the tank-side contact electrode is exposed from the outer wall, and the remaining portion of the outer circumferential surface of the tank-side contact electrode is embedded inside of the outer wall and is connected to an electrode of an ultrasonic vibrator. A main body-side contact electrode comes into contact with the specific portion of the outer circumferential surface of the tank-side contact electrode when the working tank is mounted on the main body.Type: GrantFiled: September 7, 2017Date of Patent: September 1, 2020Assignee: OMRON HEALTHCARE CO., LTD.Inventors: Shigeo Kinoshita, Takaaki Okanishi, Makoto Tabata, Hiroshi Ogawa
