  • Patent number: 8265780
Abstract: An apparatus control system. apparatus and computer-readable recording medium for enabling different operators to perform apparatus and network settings independently and to easily confirm a setting status. An apparatus setter at least one of a setting on a connection between a water heater and a remote controller, and a test run of the water heater using the remote controller. A network setter performs setting on a connection between the remote controller and a server. A setting status monitoring section monitors an apparatus setting status representing whether or not the setting by the apparatus setter is ended and a network setting status representing whether or not the setting by the network setter is ended. A setting status display controlling section displays the apparatus setting status and the network setting status.

  • Patent number: 7464157
Abstract: An information transfer system includes an information panel which controls electrical equipment and includes a first transmission and reception section. The system also includes a server which is communicably connected via a network to the information panel and includes a second transmission and reception section and a trigger generation section which generates a communication request trigger for making a request to communicate with the information panel. The first transmission and reception section transmits information based on a UDP protocol periodically to the server, the second transmission and reception section receives the information based on the UDP protocol. When the communication request trigger is generated, the second transmission and reception section transmits request response information based on the UDP protocol or based on a TCP protocol to a transmission-origin address of the information.

  • Publication number: 20080221713
Abstract: An apparatus control system for enabling different operators to perform apparatus setting and network setting independently and efficiently and to easily confirm a setting status, an apparatus, and a computer-readable recording medium where an apparatus control program is recorded are disclosed. An apparatus setter (110) performs setting, the setting being at least one of setting on connection between a water heater (102) and a remote controller (103), and test run of the water heater (102) using the remote controller (103). A network setter (111) performs setting on connection between the remote controller (103) and a server (104). A setting status monitoring section (115) monitors an apparatus setting status representing whether or not the setting by the apparatus setter (110) is ended and a network setting status representing whether or not the setting by the network setter (111) is ended.

  • Publication number: 20080061970
Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a monitoring device that can be mounted in a window or a door in which because the window is often opened or closed by the user, if the monitoring device is installed on the window, the user must perform an operation of releasing the monitoring device, every time of opening or closing the window. An intrusion detecting terminal unit (13) having an opening/closing sensor is disposed on the window or door, a mat (16) containing a piezoelectric sensor (15) is disposed near under the window, and each of the intrusion detecting terminal unit (13) with the opening/closing sensor and the intrusion detecting terminal unit (15a) with the piezoelectric sensor comprises data communication means for transmitting or receiving data. In case of the intrusion, the intrusion detecting terminal unit (15a) under the window detects the intruder, and then if the intruder tries to open the window, the intruder is judged.

  • Publication number: 20080061969
Abstract: To provide an intrusion detection device that can be easily mounted, has less influence of rain or snow, has a weather resistance, and can cope with various shapes. In the intrusion detection device of the present invention, pressure sensitive means (14) that is a flexible cable-like piezoelectric sensor is stored in a packet (13) in a sealed state, and mounted on a wall-like structure (11) such as a veranda, a balcony or a fence for the domicile. Since the packet is slidable, the pressure sensitive means is sufficiently deformed when the wall-like structure (11) is pressed, so that the sensor can make the detection reliably.
