Abstract: An automatic travelling control system includes: a function determiner that determines a status of a function used for automatic travelling of a vehicle; a first notifier that provides a notification of the status of the function; a first abnormality detector that detects an abnormality in the notification of the status of the function; a second notifier that provides a predetermined notification when the abnormality in the notification of the status of the function is detected and it is determined that the function is normal; a second abnormality detector that detects an abnormality in the predetermined notification; a manual driving capability determiner that determines whether a user on board the vehicle can drive the vehicle manually; and a manual driving requester that requests the user to drive the vehicle manually when the second notifier provides the predetermined notification and it is determined that the user can drive the vehicle manually.

Abstract: Provided is a console box capable of reducing a sound generated in the event of abutment between abutting sections with a simple configuration. Console box 10 includes box 12 and lid 13 opening and closing at least a part of box 12. Lid 13 includes lid body main body 21 movable with respect to box 12 and locking section 22 movable with respect to lid body main body 21 and locking lid 13 to box 12. At least one of box 12 and lid body main body 21 has abutting section 28. Locking section 22 has abutting section 43 abutting against abutting section 28 when lid 13 is locked to box 12. At least one of abutting section 28 and abutting section 43 is a deformation section absorbing an impact by being deformed at least in part by abutting against the other.

Abstract: A steering device is disclosed in which multiple notches are formed at two edge portions of a sheet-shaped base member by partially cutting out the sheet-shaped base member. An enlarged portion that is an enlarged part of each notch is formed at a leading end position of the notch. The two edge portions of the base member are wound along a cover portion while facing each other at an inner side of a curved portion of the cover portion. The enlarged portions cancel out a difference in length between the outer and inner sides due to the curved portion of the cover portion, thereby enabling suppression of formation of a wrinkle of the base member. The steering device can have a good appearance and provide a good touch-feeling to a driver when the driver holds the steering device in a state where the heater is covered by a skin portion.

Abstract: A controller with a buffer is provided between a main memory and an external storage. This controller supplies a given request for access to the external storage and issues a preload request for a retrieval extent of the next access request by the time when data associated with this first access request is completely transferred to the buffer memory or to the main memory. Moreover, the controller stores the preloaded data in the buffer and, for the next access request, it transfers the data stored in the buffer to the main memory. Therefore, even when the host side (CPU) is processing, the access to the external storage can be made simultaneously, thus the response time and the operating ratio of the computer system being improved.
