Abstract: A printing device includes a control device configured to receive a cancellation request instruction, receive a confirmation instruction for confirming each printing job to be cancelled or not, set the printing job in the queue to be in a stop condition if receiving the cancellation request instruction, and delete from the queue the printing job if receiving the confirmation instruction for the printing job. The control device further determines whether the job receiving device receives another new printing job during an instruction waiting period from a time when receiving confirmation instruction, and controls the printing device to print the other new printing job prior to printing of the printing job registered in the queue, if the job receiving device receives the other new printing job.

Abstract: A communication device includes a storing unit, a first determining unit, a rejection unit, and a communication unit. The storing unit stores a database structured to have collection of records. Each record is configured from a plurality of fields including a contact name field for entry of a name of a contact and a data field set including a plurality of fields for entry of data in association with the name of a contact. The first determining unit is configured to determine whether a field included in the data field set is enabled or disabled. The rejection unit is configured to reject to store data in a field of the database that is determined to be disabled by the first determining unit. It takes a period of time from a time T2 to a time T7 to read in image data of a quantity (Q2?Q1) from the rear surface of one document as apparent from a line segment 200a that is indicative of the speed at which the read-in image data is stored. The timing of printing start is offset to ensure that the line segment 200a and the line segment 300b do not intersect with each other. This makes it possible to start printing based on image data for the rear surface of the document while the reading of the subject surface of the subject document.
