  • Publication number: 20240267119
Abstract: A relay system includes a first and a second communication device at least one of which includes an estimating unit that acquires, based on a dispersion compensation amount acquired by an optical transceiver, an estimated value of a transmission delay period, the transmission delay period being a period during which an optical signal is transmitted through an optical fiber; a specifying unit configured to specify, based on the estimated value of the transmission delay period acquired by the estimating unit, a transmission-related time which is related to transmission of a control code by the first communication device or the second communication device, or a reception-related time which is related to reception of the control code by the second communication device or the first communication device; and a determining unit configured to determine, based on the transmission-related time and the reception-related time, the transmission delay period in downlink or uplink channel.

  • Patent number: 11220764
Abstract: A sheet is produced by (i) producing a sheet by entangling woven or knitted material including a thread composed of a composite fiber such that two kinds or more of polyethylene terephthalate polymers different in intrinsic viscosity are stuck together in a side-by-side type along the fiber length direction and/or of a core-in-sheath type composite fiber such that two kinds or more of polyethylene terephthalate polymers different in intrinsic viscosity form an eccentric core-in-sheath structure, with a fiber capable of converting into ultra fine fibers composed of two kinds or more of polymeric substances different in solubility in solvent, (ii) developing an ultra fine fiber with an average single fiber fineness of 0.001 dtex or more and 0.

  • Patent number: 10446121
Abstract: An action of a grand piano, which makes it possible to reduce not only the weight of a jack, but also that of a wippen, to thereby improve string striking repeatability. The action includes a wippen of a synthetic resin configured to pivotally move upward by being pushed up by the depressed key, a jack pivotally mounted to the wippen, for pushing up the hammer in accordance with pivotal motion of the wippen to cause the hammer to pivotally move upward, and a jack angular position-adjusting mechanism provided on the wippen to adjust an angular position of the jack. The mechanism has a support portion integrally formed with the wippen, an adjustment screw screwed into the support portion movably in a front-rear direction, and a jack button provided on an end of the adjustment screw for defining the angular position of the jack by abutment therewith.

  • Patent number: 10170086
Abstract: A support device for a pivotal member of a keyboard instrument, in which opposite ends of a pivotal pin fixed to a pivotal member can be each properly positioned in the center of a pin hole, to thereby enable the pivotal member to perform efficient and stable pivotal motion. The support device that pivotally supports the pivotal member pivotally moved by key depression includes a flange body including two support walls opposed to each other with a predetermined spacing therebetween, and two pin holes which are formed in the respective support walls and in which opposite ends of the pivotal pin are inserted, respectively, and two bearings fixed in the pin holes in an inserted state and having opposite ends of the pivotal pin inserted therein, for pivotally supporting the pivotal. Each bearing is formed by a braid formed in a hollow cylindrical shape.
