  • Publication number: 20190346657
Abstract: A lens barrel in which an air flow path that causes an external space and an internal space to communicate is formed includes an aperture unit disposed in the internal space and configured to rotate a plurality of vane members within a predetermined range to form a predetermined opening, an optical unit disposed in the internal space and located on an object side with respect to the aperture unit, and a through-hole formed in the aperture unit and communicating with the internal space. When at least one of the optical unit and the aperture unit moves in an optical axis direction, the lens barrel discharges, through the air flow path and the through-hole, air in the internal space and static electricity charged in the plurality of vane members included in the air in the internal space.

  • Patent number: 6741404
Abstract: An external helicoid thread is provided which includes a helicoid thread having a first ridge whose both flanks are formed at a first flank angle, and a helicoid thread having a second ridge whose both flanks are formed at a second flank angle which is different from the first flank angle. An internal helicoid thread is kept in screwed-state engagement with the external helicoid threads. And in a lens barrel obtained using a connection based on such internal and external helicoid threads, the connection provided by these helicoid threads can remain secured even if a sudden outside force is applied to the lens barrel.

  • Patent number: 6597874
Abstract: In a camera having a camera body unit constituted by combining a plurality of units, the camera configuration is realized so as to allow to easily remove only a lens frame unit from the camera body unit before the other units (for example, a strobe unit, a finder unit, a film feed unit and the like) when the camera is disassembled to repair or replace the lens frame unit by constituting so that the lens frame unit having a photographing optical system can be mounted independently.

  • Patent number: 6415109
Abstract: A camera of this invention incorporates a finder unit capable of changing its magnification corresponding to any one of plural zoom lens barrels (first, second lens barrels) each having different zoom range. When installing the finder unit, first, a positioning pin is inserted into a positioning hole in a rotary frame so as to hold the lens barrel in standard zoom condition. Then, a finder positioning pin is inserted into a cam gear positioning hole and main body positioning hole in finder cam shaft so as to hold a finder lens at a variable magnification position corresponding to the standard zoom condition. With that condition, a zoom driving gear arrangement is meshed with a driving gear portion and cam gear in a rotary frame so that the lens barrel and finder are assembled with each other. This camera realizes reduction of product development term and production cost.

  • Patent number: 6244760
Abstract: A camera uses a film cartridge for automatically guiding out a film when the film cartridge is mounted into a film cartridge chamber. A film cartridge unit has the film cartridge chamber. A rail plate unit is formed independently of the film cartridge unit and is also mechanically connected to the film cartridge unit. The rail plate unit faces the film for guiding the move of the film from the film cartridge chamber. The film cartridge unit has a guide route for securely guiding the film from the film cartridge chamber to the rail plate unit.

  • Patent number: 6217237
Abstract: A spool case unit has a paired end walls arranged in both end sides of a film to be wound up onto a spool shaft in its width direction, a connecting member provided between the end walls so as to connect the end walls to each other, and facing a portion of an outer circumferential surface of the film on the spool shaft, and an elastic thin plate cooperating with the connecting member between the end walls to form a side wall for the spool case unit and to surround the outer circumferential surface of the film on the spool shaft, the thin plate having an area larger than that of the connecting member in the side wall. A camera using the spool case unit, includes a lens barrel unit, a cartridge case unit, the spool case unit, and a photographing opening unit to which the cartridge case unit and the spool case unit are connected.

  • Patent number: 6213654
Abstract: A camera comprises a fixed lens barrel including a moving lens barrel movable to a collapsed position for non-photography and to a thrust position for photography, and a lens cover capable of pivoting with support shafts, which lie parallel to a plane substantially perpendicular to the optical axis of a photography lens, as a center so as to move to a closed position at which at least part of the face of the photography lens is shielded and to an open position at which the face of the photography lens is exposed. When the lens cover is open, if an external force is applied in a direction in which the lens cover is further opened, the lens cover comes off from the support shafts. The support shafts are formed with two shaft members whose distal portions are formed with tapered surfaces and which are constrained to move in directions in which they are separated from each other. The support shafts are mounted on a member which allows the support shafts to move along the optical axis of the photography lens.
