  • Publication number: 20100128421
Abstract: An electronic equipment having a mechanism which, when a display unit side housing and an operation unit side housing are closed together, holds the housings without rattle. The electronic equipment has a first housing, a second housing provided on the first housing so as to be rotatable about a first pivot axis, and a third housing provided on the second housing so as to be rotatable about a second pivot axis substantially perpendicular to the first pivot axis. In order that the third housing tilts toward the first housing when the third housing is closed on the first housing, a flat surface perpendicular to the second pivot axis is constructed so as to form a predetermined angle relative to a flat surface of the first housing facing the third housing.

  • Publication number: 20090148895
Abstract: The present invention provides a double-stranded DNA constructed specifically for high speed gene amplification, a method for gene amplification and a method for synthesizing protein. The gene amplification system of the present invention used a site-specific recombinase such as Cre-lox system and target sequence thereof to efficiently induce a type of replication referred to as a double rolling-circle replication (DRCR). Amplification unit, whose structure is shown in FIG. 2 (a), is constructed in animal and other cells. DRCR is induced by two recombination events triggered by a site-specific recombinase (Cre) when each replication folk progresses between each pair of target sequences (lox sequences).

  • Publication number: 20070249016
Abstract: The present invention provides a double-stranded DNA constructed specially for gene amplification at high speed, a method for gene amplification using the double-stranded DNA and a method to produce proteins. A system to induce artificial gene amplification at high speed was constructed based on the mechanism of gene replication in vivo (BIR). A double-stranded DNA comprising an arrangement of A-B-C and A?-B?-C? or an inverted arrangement of A?-B?-C? was constructed. A and A? are double-stranded DNA capable of undergoing reciprocal homologous recombination and said DNA fragments are arranged each other in an inverted orientation; B and B? are amplifying segments, wherein at least one or the other of said genes contains a target gene for amplification; C and C? are double-stranded DNA capable of undergoing reciprocal homologous recombination, wherein said DNA fragments are arranged each other in an inverted orientation and any DNA sequence could be inserted between C and C?.

  • Patent number: 7141399
Abstract: Provided is a preparation process of diglycerides which comprises reacting a fatty acid or lower alkyl ester thereof with glycerin in the presence of an immobilized partial glyceride lipase while removing water, which is generated upon reaction, out of the system. The reaction is preferably terminated when the acid value (AV) of the reaction mixture satisfies the following range: 50R-60>AV>70R-150 (with the proviso that AV>0). The present process makes it possible to efficiently prepare a high purity of diglycerides without impairing lipase activity even under reduced pressure. The present process is effective without being influenced by variations in reaction conditions such as fatty acid/glycerin ratio, reaction temperature or enzyme concentration. Particularly, even when the fatty acid/glycerin ratio is high, a high purity of diglycerides can be produced at a high reaction yield.
