  • Publication number: 20080070707
Abstract: A rotor shaft may include a base shaft member for structuring the rotor shaft, a lead screw formed on an outer peripheral face of the base shaft member, and a resin film which covers the lead screw. Further, a motor may include a rotor shaft that is formed with a lead screw on a peripheral face of the rotor shaft, and a flank face of the lead screw is coated with a resin film. Also, a motor may include a rotor shaft and a bearing which rotatably supports the rotor shaft, at least a sliding portion of the rotor shaft on the bearing is covered with a resin film. The resin film is preferably an electrodeposited film and may contain solid lubricant, filler and fluid adjustment agent.

  • Publication number: 20020060828
Abstract: An air dynamic pressure bearing includes a shaft element, a bearing element relatively rotatably supporting the shaft element, and dynamic pressure generation grooves for generating a dynamic pressure by air formed between opposing surfaces of the shaft element and the bearing element. The bearing element is formed from a sintered alloy, and a solid lubricant material is disposed on the opposing surface of at least one of the shaft element and the bearing element.

  • Patent number: 5705970
Abstract: A motor having rotor has a good balance of inertia and a magnetic characteristic that match the specifications of the motor with which those rotors are to be used. A rare-earth containing iron-base resin-bonded magnet is molded from an iron-base magnetic powder containing a rare earth metal such as neodymium and praseodymium in powder, a thermoplastic or thermosetting resin and additive. A density and magnetic characteristic is proportionally changed by adjusting a mixing ratio of a filler powder. Specifically, when a mixing ratio of filler powder containing tungsten having a density 19.1 g/cm.sup.3 is in 13 vol % is injected, or a mixing ratio of alloy powder containing tungsten an nickel, or tungsten and chromium having a density 10.5 g/cm.sup.3 is compression-mold, its magnetic flux assume the same value as those of compression-molded Sm--Co magnets.

  • Patent number: 5176842
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a resin bound magnet comprising, mixing and kneading a powdered magnetic material and a rubber modified epoxy resin obtained from the addition polymerization of an epoxy resin and a butadiene or nitrile rubber and thereafter molding and setting the kneading mixture into a desired shape. The magnets prepared by the present invention exhibit permanent deformation under low compressive force, are soft and heat resistant and yet highly elastic and possess low dynamic exothermic properties and excellent low temperature characteristics. In addition, the inventive magnets exhibit excellent radial compression strength and other mechanical properties.

  • Patent number: 5096741
Abstract: The present invention relates to a corrosionproof coating material characterized by including a triazine derivative possessing a thiol group, and accordingly being effective for coating an extremely air oxidizable metallic material and processed articles thereof, such as a rare earth-iron-boron type permanent magnet, that are easily oxidizable in the air.

  • Patent number: 5079572
Abstract: A recording head for electrostatic recording comprises an electrode substrate formed by bonding together by a bonding agent a pair of substantially planar sub-substrates of an electrical insulating material, each of which is formed on its one surface with a plurality of elongate, equally-spaced and parallel recording electrodes electrically insulated from each other and aligned in a row, so that the electrodes on one of the sub-substrates are located, respectively, opposite to the spaces between adjacent electrodes on the other sub-substrate. In the recording head, the electrode row on each of the sub-substrates has a high degree of linearity, and the dimension in the widthwise direction of the electrode substrate defined by the distance between the electrode row on one of the sub-substrates and that on the other sub-substrate is maintained uniform over the whole longitudinal direction of the electrode substrate. A method of making such a recording head is also disclosed.
