  • Patent number: 6971903
Abstract: The insulation displacement terminal 3 is retained on the terminal retainer portion 5 of the main housing 6. The lead 12 of the insulation displacement terminal 3 is soldered to the first surface 10a of the circuit board 10 through the bottom plate 13 of the main housing 6 and the circuit board 10, which is held in the second retaining space 11 between the main housing 6 and second cover housing 8. After the insulation displacement terminal 3 in such a subassembly state is connected by insulation displacement with a desired portion of the insulated wire 2, the first cover housing 7 is combined with the main housing 6. The receiving portion 44 of the second cover housing 8 receives the insulation displacement load via the bottom plate 13 of the main housing 6 and the circuit board 10.

  • Patent number: 6972785
Abstract: Disclosed is an image forming apparatus which provides an image of an excellent quality which has a less variation in resolution and suppressed linear irregularity. A rod lens array includes two rows of rod lenses stacked one on the other. An LED array is offset by a predetermined offset amount from a plane passing the median position between the first row of rod lenses and the second row of rod lenses. This structure can realize an LED printer head which reduces a variation in the resolution of the rod lens array, thereby suppressing linear irregularity, and can thus provide an image having an excellent quality.

  • Publication number: 20050263521
Abstract: A CPU detects a temperature of a central part of a heating roller. If the detected temperature does not exceed 180° C., the CPU drives a central coil or a side-end coil for 0.4 second in accordance with a temperature difference between the central part of the heating roller and a side-end part of the heating roller. Then, the CPU drives the side-end coil or central coil for 0.2 second. Thereafter, the CPU detects the temperature of the central part and repeats the driving control until the detected temperature reaches 180° C.

  • Publication number: 20050264881
Abstract: A three-dimensional display apparatus is provided with an optical element including optical apertures arranged opposite a display module and in association with the parallax images. The optical apertures cause the parallax images to be displayed in a near-side region closer to an observer, while causing a three-dimensional image to be displayed in a far-side region located opposite the observer with respect to the display module. When a smooth three-dimensional image is to be displayed in the near-side region, the optical gap between the optical element and the display surface is set longer than a reference distance depending on the position of the three-dimensional image. In order to display a smooth three-dimensional image in the far-side region, the observer sets the optical gap shorter than the reference distance depending on the position of the three-dimensional image.

  • Patent number: 6969440
Abstract: A cylindrical body ply is mounted around a cylindrical bladder, and annular beads are set on both axial end portions of the body ply. In this state, while the spacing between both axial ends of the body ply is narrowed, an axial intermediate portion of the body ply is increased in diameter by the bladder. Subsequently, bending members formed of rigid bodies are radially moved from the inside to the outside of the body ply to bend both axial end portions of the body ply by the bending members. The bent portions of the body ply wrap around corresponding beads. With the use of the body ply manufactured in this way in a tire, the resulting tire can be reduced in the manufacturing cost and weight.
