  • Publication number: 20200178808
Abstract: Provided is an information processing method configured to further accurately calculate an absorption spectrum of blood based on light applied to a living body such as a human finger. The information processing method includes the steps of: irradiating a living body with near-infrared light having a plurality of wavelengths; measuring, based on the near-infrared light received from the living body, a pulsating signal corresponding to each of the plurality of wavelengths; performing a principal component analysis on multi-wavelength time-series data including the measured pulsating signal corresponding to each of the wavelengths so as to remove noise from the pulsating signal; and calculating an absorption spectrum based on a variation width of the pulsating signal that is removed noise.

  • Publication number: 20190282139
Abstract: Provided are an in-blood component measurement method, an in-blood component measurement device, and an in-blood component measurement program, enabling more accurate measurement of a proportion of glycohemoglobin in the total hemoglobin concentration in blood. The in-blood component measurement method is designed to have a constitution including the steps of irradiating, with near-infrared light, blood that is a target to be measured for a proportion of glycohemoglobin in the total hemoglobin concentration in blood, receiving transmitted light of the near-infrared light passing through the blood, measuring an absorption spectrum of the blood on the basis of the transmitted light received, and calculating the proportion for the blood that is the target of measurement by comparing absorbance at a first wavelength range including 1450 nm in the measured absorption spectrum to absorbance at the first wavelength range in the absorption spectrum of blood in which the proportion is already known.

  • Publication number: 20130309704
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to improve the measurement accuracy in the measurement of the concentration of a physiologically active biological substance in a sample by a stirring turbidimetry, a light scattering method or an AL-bound beads method, wherein the purpose can be achieved by preventing the occurrence of aggregation or gelation that is caused by the stirring of a mixed solution and is not associated with the physiologically active substance.

  • Publication number: 20120215109
Abstract: When an amount of visceral fat is measured using ultrasonic waves during medical examination of metabolic syndrome, three contact positions are defined on the surface of the abdominal region, and three distances inside the living body are measured by bringing a probe into contact with the surface of the abdominal region at the contact positions. Specifically, three measurement paths having a starting point at the center of the descending aorta are set, and the distances from the center to a surface of the fat layer adjacent to the surface of the body (inner surface of the subcutaneous layer) in the measurement paths are observed. An approximate area of a visceral fat region can be determined from the three distances and two angles defined by the three measurement paths, and an index value is calculated on the basis of the area. A probe holder having three holding portions is desirably used.
