  • Publication number: 20080057306
Abstract: An adhesive sheet for laser processing, comprises a base film and an adhesive layer laminated on the surface of the base film, wherein the base film has a melting protection layer on the back side thereof. According to the adhesive sheet for laser processing of the present invention, the melting of the base film caused by the local concentration of laser beam energy at the places irradiated with the laser beam can be effectively prevented. Accordingly, the back side of the base film can be prevented from locally adhering to the processing table in the dicing apparatus, and subsequent steps, namely, drawing the base film to separate the workpiece from the adhesive layer, and individually recovering these, can be carried out easily and efficiently.

  • Publication number: 20080057970
Abstract: In a wireless communications system operating according to CDMA or the like, when one terminal simultaneously performs communication using multiple wireless resources (e.g., multiple carriers), there was a problem that when it was attempted to guarantee network mobility by the same soft handoff system as in the case where communication was performed using only one wireless resource, efficiency suffered from the viewpoint of network forwarding load, processing load and wireless resource occupancy time. Soft handoff termination is judged and soft handoff is forcibly terminated according to whether or not the data rate obtained for all resources on the network side satisfies a requested rate, based on a reception state notification from a terminal concerning wireless resources.

  • Patent number: 7340065
Abstract: An active noise control system is provided which cancels a noise using a sound radiated from a speaker driven by an output from an adaptive notch filter. The system employs output signals from an adder or simulation cosine-wave and sine-wave signals, an error signal or an output signal from a microphone, and a compensated signal from the adder or a signal available for acoustically transferring an output from the adaptive notch filter to the microphone in accordance with initial transfer characteristics to update the filter coefficient of the adaptive notch filter. This configuration allows the system to operate with stability even when the acoustic transfer characteristics vary with time or under circumstances where there exists a significant amount of incoming external noises. The system also prevents overcompensation for a noise at the ears of a passenger in a vehicle, thereby proving an ideal noise reduction effect.

  • Patent number: 7338699
Abstract: In film-forming devices and plasma-processing devices, filmy matter adheres to the surfaces of the inner parts and it peels to cause dust and particles in the devices. In the devices, the dust and particles contaminate the objects for film formation thereon or the objects to be processed with plasma. For preventing the objects from being contaminated with them, the inner parts of the devices must be frequently exchanged every time when they have received any minor filmy matter thereon, and this lowers the productivity in the devices. When a modified glass part of which the surface is modified with spherical or bell-like island projections having a width and a height of from a few ?m to a few hundreds ?m is used in a film-forming device and in a plasma-processing device, then its ability to hold the filmy substance having adhered thereto is good and its resistance to plasma is also good.

  • Patent number: 7338136
Abstract: An electronic braking device is provided which easily generates a braking force depending on the amount of brake operation in a range in which the amount of brake operation is small, just after the start of brake operation, and which protects a fluid pressure sensor from a fluid pressure beyond its tolerance. The electronic braking device activates a brake caliper through an electronic control unit (ECU) according to a signal in response to a braking request from a driver, and is provided with a first pressure sensor and a second pressure sensor for detecting the requested braking amount. The first pressure sensor and the second pressure sensor are different from each other in detection resolution and detection range. A relief valve unit r is provided which, when a fluid pressure above a prescribed level is applied to the master cylinder 3, relieves this fluid pressure.
