  • Publication number: 20240027809
Abstract: A cover panel according to the present disclosure includes a first reflection suppressing film and a first polarizing plate. The first polarizing plate is arranged between the first reflection suppressing film and a liquid crystal panel. The first polarizing plate polarizes light. The cover panel further includes at least one of a louver layer and a decorative layer. The louver layer includes light transmitting members and light absorbing members repeatedly arranged between the first reflection suppressing film and the first polarizing plate. The light transmitting members transmits light. The light absorbing members absorbs light. The decorative layer has a pattern. The cover panel is arranged to be separated from a liquid crystal panel.

  • Publication number: 20170235176
Abstract: The liquid crystal display device includes a transparent cover, a first polarizing plate with retardation function, an optical device, and a liquid crystal panel. The first polarizing plate with retardation function is in a form of a film, and is obtained by laminating, from the front side, a cover film, a polarizer layer, and a cover film with retardation function for changing the polarization state of transmitted light. The first polarizing plate with retardation function and the transparent cover are bonded by using a transparent adhesive layer. The second polarizing plate with retardation function has a configuration in which a cover film with retardation function for changing the polarization state of transmitted light, a polarizer layer, and a cover film are laminated, and is bonded to the liquid crystal section with a transparent adhesive layer being interposed between the second polarizing plate with retardation function and the liquid crystal section.

  • Publication number: 20170205539
Abstract: An anti-reflection member includes an anti-glare layer including a fine irregular structure, and an anti-reflection layer formed over the anti-glare layer and including a plurality of films laminated on each other. In the anti-glare layer, a surface of the fine irregular structure having an inclination angle that results in a film thickness variation of the anti-reflection layer falling within ±20%, inclusive, in terms of film thickness occupies 60% or greater of an area in which the fine irregular structure is formed. The film thickness variation of the anti-reflection layer originates from a variation in the inclination angle of the surface of the fine irregular structure.

  • Patent number: 8026653
Abstract: A display device provided with a screen, comprising: an optical filter having a blind sheet that comprises a plurality of semitranslucent layers having translucence arranged side-by-side extending in a horizontal direction and having a predetermined thickness in a vertical direction, and a plurality of transparent layers which are disposed between the semitranslucent layers and which are of a higher translucency than that of the semitranslucent layers and of a greater thickness than the thickness of the semitranslucent layers; and an adhesive member for sticking the optical filter to the screen, wherein the ratio of the transmittance of a limit angle of the screen with respect to the transmittance of the optical filter at the center of the screen is at least 0.10 and not more than 0.50.

  • Publication number: 20110228401
Abstract: A body antireflection layer is provided on a display surface of a display device body. A first antireflection layer and a second antireflection layer are provided on both sides of an optical filter that is opposed to the display surface by a predetermined gap. A light-blocking screen frame layer is provided on the optical filter between a light-transmissive base and the first antireflection layer near the display surface at a peripheral area corresponding to an outer periphery of the display device body. A color difference between a position of the screen frame layer and a position of a display area of the display device body is 40 or less. A border between the display area and the screen frame layer becomes difficult to be visible, so that the optical filter can be recognized by users as an integral surface having no border over the entire surface of the optical filter.
