    Abstract: A laser beam printer apparatus includes a rear door configured to be openable/closable, and a holding member including a guide groove for guiding the rear door to a position where the rear door is being stopped when the rear door is being closed. The rear door includes a boss configured to be partially inserted into the guide groove when the rear door is being closed. The boss includes an abutting portion biased toward the end facing the guide groove. The holding member has a hole on the guide groove in a position where the abutting portion abuts it when the rear door is closed. The boss is configured such that its tip fits into the hole when the rear door is closed and the tip is removed from the hole when the rear door is being opened.
