  • Publication number: 20220316481
Abstract: The application relates to a pump apparatus for pumping liquid, and more particularly to a technique for removing foreign matters contained in the liquid when an impeller catches on the foreign matters. The pump apparatus includes: an impeller (1); an electric motor (7) configured to rotate the impeller (1); an inverter (14) configured to drive the electric motor (7); a current measuring device (15) configured to measure a current supplied to the electric motor (7); and an operation controller (17) configured to instruct the inverter (14) to cause the impeller (1) to perform a foreign-matter removing operation including at least two of: an intermittent operation that intermittently rotates the impeller (1) in a forward direction; a reverse-rotating operation that rotates the impeller (1) in a reverse direction; and a forward and reverse inching operation that rotates the impeller (1) in the reverse direction and the forward direction alternately and repeatedly.

  • Publication number: 20190301480
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pump apparatus. The pump apparatus includes: an impeller (1) in which a permanent magnet (5) is embedded; a pump casing (2) which houses the impeller (1); a motor stator (6) having a plurality of stator coils (6B); a motor casing (3) which houses the motor stator (6); a bearing assembly (10) which supports the impeller (1); a vibration sensor (30) for detecting a vibration of the bearing assembly (10); and a controller (29) connected to the vibration sensor (30). The controller (29) calculates the rate of change in the vibration based on the vibration detected by the vibration sensor (30) and, when the rate of change in the vibration is higher than a predetermined threshold value, performs at least one of an operation to stop the supply of electric current to the motor stator (6) and an operation to trigger an alarm.

  • Publication number: 20110223038
Abstract: A controller-integrated motor pump is disclosed. The motor pump includes: a pump; a motor configured to drive the pump; a control unit configured to control the motor; and a pressure measuring device configured to measure pressure of fluid at a discharge side of the pump. The control unit is mounted on a motor casing. The control unit includes an inverter configured to produce alternating-current power having a frequency within a band that includes frequencies more than or equal to a commercial frequency, a pump controller configured to produce a torque command value for controlling operation of the pump, and a vector controller configured to determine a voltage command value for the inverter based on the torque command value. The motor has a rotor having a plurality of permanent magnets.
