  • Patent number: 10012975
Abstract: In a numerical control system including a numerical controller and a plurality of I/O units, a serial communication signal monitoring circuit is included inside the I/O unit to monitor a serial communication signal (data and an idle signal). When a state is detected in which a serial communication signal is high or low for a predetermined time or longer, the numerical control system acknowledges the state as disconnection of the serial communication signal, and generates a reset pulse signal to reset an internal register of the I/O unit. With this configuration, when the power supply of the numerical controller is turned off/on, it is unnecessary to turn off/on the power supply of the I/O unit.

  • Publication number: 20180182243
Abstract: In an object detection apparatus, a first association unit associates, based on radar information and camera information, radar objects with at least one camera object that are estimated to be the same as each other. If camera objects are detected so that the camera information includes at least the detection point and the type of each of the camera objects, a determination unit determines whether the camera objects express a common object in accordance with the camera information. A second association unit defines, upon determination that the camera objects express the common object, the camera objects as a camera object group, and associates, if one of the camera objects constituting the camera object group is associated with a target radar object that is one of the radar objects, all the camera objects constituting the camera object group with the target radar object.

  • Publication number: 20180156913
Abstract: An object detection apparatus identifies a first area including a first detection point expressing a position of a first object detected by a radar and a second area including a second detection point expressing a position of a second object detected by a camera. A determining means determines that the first object and the second object are the same object, if an overlapping area is present in a single first area and a single second area. When a plurality of second areas have the overlapping portions with a single first area, an area selecting means selects a single first area and a single second area in which the overlapping portion is present based on a corresponding relationship between intensity of a reflected wave of the first object and a type of the second object.

  • Publication number: 20180114074
Abstract: In a pedestrian determining apparatus, an object detecting unit detects, based on waves reflected by an object, the object as a radar-based object. The reflected waves are generated based on reflection, by the object, of radar waves transmitted ahead of the own vehicle. A likelihood calculating unit calculates, for the radar-based object, a likelihood of the radar-based object being a pedestrian crossing ahead of the own vehicle. A pedestrian determining unit determines whether the likelihood is equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold, and determines that the radar-based object is a pedestrian crossing ahead of the own vehicle if the likelihood is equal to or higher than the predetermined threshold. The likelihood calculating unit sets the likelihood for the radar-based object to be lower if the radar-based object is detected as a part of an object group arranged at regular intervals than otherwise.

  • Patent number: 9947979
Abstract: A flat cable high-frequency filter includes a dielectric substrate extending in a transmission direction of a high-frequency signal. The dielectric substrate includes dielectric layers stacked on each other. Elongated conductor patterns are provided on a flat surface of one dielectric layer which faces another dielectric layer. The conductor patterns are as wide as possible in the dielectric substrate in accordance with a desired inductance. A capacitive coupling conductor pattern opposes one conductor pattern by a predetermined area with a dielectric layer therebetween. By using a connecting conductor, the capacitive coupling conductor pattern is connected to the conductor pattern which does not oppose the capacitive coupling conductor pattern.

  • Patent number: 9945927
Abstract: In an object detection apparatus, a first region definition unit defines a first object region including a first detection point representing a relative position of a first object detected by a millimeter-wave radar with respect to a reference point in an XY-plane. An X-axis direction of the XY-plane is a vehicle widthwise direction, and a Y-axis direction of the XY-plane is a vehicle lengthwise direction. A second region definition unit defines a second object region including a second detection point representing a relative position of a second object detected based on a captured image with respect to the reference point. A region size modification unit modifies the size of the first region in the presence of axial misalignment of the radar. A determination unit determines that the first and second objects are the same if there is an overlap of the first and second object regions in the XY-plane.
